--------------------NEW PEOPLE READ THIS-----------------------

If you are new go onto resources and look at the solar plant colum.

Make sure it's not on 0% put it to 100%

Mine was on 0% at start and I know a few others were aswell.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

I'd imagine a lot of people might stick on that point. First time I went to the page something was amiss. Once I'd balanced it out a bit better though I started moving. Think I'll leave it today, come back tomorrow to muchos resources!

Yep - I just built a lev1 Deut plant - Needed to stick it to 100% too.

So it looks like every building, once built, need to be put to 100% before it will activate.

anyone got some spare metal, crystals or Deuterium going? Soooo close to have cargo ships :D Please help!

And BTW - What's the best way to ensure your planet will not be raided? ;)

I assume a few missile silo's will take care of it? Or is a fleet of ships around your planet better?

Not that I'll be building ships for some time, just for future reference. ;)
(May be able to build missile silo's by the weekend)

Does no one read my posts? I've made one huge one about that very thing :p

you think you had lack of inspiration then try mars. :D

I read the post - It was much handy too, for someone with ships etc. :)
Thank you - It's been notepaded!

Never leave substantial amounts of resources undefended, or poorly defended.

This I know, but considering I have no ships at present, I take it I am not a target as such?

Basically, I don't want to have saved up enough for an uber upgrade, then notice it's all gone by the next time I logon...

So would the best way be to have 3 or 4 missile silo's, or a fleet of small fighters? Or save up to get a battleship and leave it in orbit around the planet?

Basically I want to know what would be the best way to defend the planet for a n00b. (ie: me) Who has no fleets to speak of. ;)
(Not even one ship as yet)

Well Fizz im in the same situation as you. I've only got 1 missle launcher defending my planet lol. If you read what it says about the missle launcher it says its good as a last defence measure but shouldnt be used as a primary. However most people would look at your planet and see that you havnt progressed far enough to have lots of resources etc so i should think your pretty safe. I'd go for space ship defence tbh.

man this game is rocking!

Really want to get enough resources to get ships and stuff.

atm I have

Metal Mine (level 7)
Crystal Mine (level 5)
Deuterium Synthesizer (level 4)
Solar Plant (level 7)
Robotic Factory (Level 1 )

want to get a fast and steady income before I start getting ships and stuff.

Dont waste time with base defeness, honestly, just large cargo's and send your fleet / resoruces away when your going to get attacked.

Well my crystal production is on 0% at the moment. Not enough power :(
You can turn your Metal Fab down... Say to 20%... Allowing more of the power to go to your crystal fab. :) Look in the resources section.
(And you seem to have a subsistance amount of crystals coming in all the time anyway)

And lots of wee lasers will be getting bought when I can buy them in the first place. :) There will be quite a bit of the time when I am not there to see if it's getting attacked or not.
(Like playing GW at the weekends, don't go back to desktop for 12+ hours!)
