I thought it was 70%, but it might have changed...

You send in an attack.
You HAVE to completely destroy the defences in order to raid him. (draw = no res)
All defences destroyed - Woot, you get the res.

AS SOON AS you then start the journey home, 70~80% of the defenders defences are back.
(Like, within 1 "cycle" of the server)

So if you send in 3 waves against 100ML's...
First wave will be opposed by 100ML's
2nd wave opposed by 75ML
3rd Wave opposed by 50ML
(Roughly)

It can be a lot more or less, just on average, 70 or 80% get's repaired as soon as the attacking fleet has left.

80% of your defences are rebuilt after every wave of attack. The only time this doesn't occur is when your defences are destroyed by Interplanetary Missiles, as any defence destroyed by these will not be rebuilt.
 
Does anyone have figures for how effective Solar Satellites are at the different planet slots? Is there anything else that effects their operation?

In Universe 3 i'm in position 6 of my solar system though i'd be interested in figures for other slots if they are available

Power Output =( Max Temp of Planet * 0.25 ) + 20
So for my home planet, max temp = 64°C.
64/4 + 20 = 36

So I get 36 power from each solar Sat.
For comparing, these are the max temps of my planets:
Pos Temp
6 64
7 40
9 35
9 32
15 -43
2 119
4 65
9 41

So it's quite variable, but generally, planets 1->4 are best for solar sat's.
Planets 9-15 are good for deut, which can also power your fusion reactor.

he must realise this will be futile. I have 40 ML, 20SL and 1 shield unless his fleet is bigger than what was probed earlier

He probed me earlier and I blew it clean away. I sent him a little message to tell him not to bother sending any more. If you like, I can send him a message warning him not to attack you, otherwise 50 Light Fighters, 40 Heavy Fighters, 40 Cruisers and 8 Battle Ships will be heading his way :D

Hehehe, very nice. If he doesn't pull back soon I'll send him a warning message myself.
 
Any chance I can get another boost in resources from somebody? logging on every couple of hours but growth is slow, need to get probes so I can start scanning.

Got a couple of light cargo ships up and sent them to raid that inactive planet davey posted but its 5 1/2 hours 1 way.

Would be extremely greatful for any little boost I could get.

Can someone scan 2:241:9 for me please? I've not got any fleet spots free, and need to make sure he's not beefed up his defences since I sent my fleets out.
