got attacked again last night,, lost 500k of defence but loads were rebuilt.

but memph in good news shocker

The attacker has lost a total of 1022000 Units.
The defender has lost a total of 425000 Units.
At these space coordinates now float 233400 Metal and 101700 Crystal.
The chance for a moon to arise from the debris is 3 %
The enormous amounts of drifting metal and crystal particles attract each other and slowly form a lunar satellite in the orbit of the planet.

I am just about to be able to build colomy ships in a short while. Should I build one very near me to defend it if need be, or further away? There are not a lot of us in uni 7 so should I send it to the next galaxy near another OcUker or will I compete with him? Any advice gratefully received.

He attacked you, had no way of winning by the looks of the attackers/defenders losses, AND gave you a moon.
I like him. :D

And you build a Lunar Base on it.
And lots more of them I believe.
And also build a Sensor Phalanx (get lots of deut) so you can scan other peoples planets for the fleet activity. ;)

Great for fleetcrashers.

Oh, and you can build lots of other funkeh things - Check on the Tech Tree. :)


Re - Colony ships...
No idea for Uni7... I'd maybe spread them out if you are going to be raiding a lot.
Keep them close if you'll be turtling them.

congrats on the moon memphisto - it should at least act as a slight deterrant to those who think you might have a sensor phalanx even if you actually don't

Ian Mac - you're welcome to build nearer me if you want - lots of these noobs should start showing as inactive over the next week anyway which will take the guess work out of things, plenty of pickings to be had - just takes a bit more research. However if i were you and wanted to spread them out a bit i probably wouldn't go further than about 50 solar systems at a time (maybe less) so that transport times between them wasn't too silly
 
The trouble is I already have too many points to raid anyone in your neck of the woods, they are all showing as green. I think I will setup a raiding colony somewhere with some good pickings.

Welcome to the T.N.G Lunar club :)

Well, first of all you build a lunar base - don't waste resources building anything else as you'd have to dismantle it! A lunar base adds 3 extra build slots, although you need one of those slots to build the next level of lunar base.

A sensor phalanx lvl 1 allows you to probe any planet in the same system for fleet movements, at a cost of 5.000 deuterium. Seems a lot, but if you want to crash a fleet it allows you to time an attack just as their fleet gets back :)

Extra phalanx levels let you scan a wider range of systems.

Also any fleets sent away from your moon can't be tracked by a rival sensor phalanx - so it becomes very difficult for someone to crash your fleet if you fleetsave via your moon.

Sisnce getting my moon, I haven't been scanned by anyone I haven't provoked - there does seem to be an assumption you have a kick ass fleet, sensor phalanx and possibly even jumpgates if you have moon. :D

I was in one m,inute then it wouldn't load any pages, they kept timing out.
I tr5ed logging on again and it still times out.

Got my first battleship, more on the go :D

I need to get computer lvl higher tho, 8 fleets just isnt enough with all these colonies :( I thought I would get one free slot with each one, I see it doesnt work that way tho.
 
yey the guy who kept attacking me has been banned :D. Anyone know where the banned list is? I want to see how long he's banned for :)

Edit: Never mind found it, I take it multi means 2 or more accounts?

It's working fine for me, although it is a little slower than usual.

With a bit of luck I'll have 9 large cargoes and 59 small cargoes full of loot in the next 40 minutes :D Need 185k deuterium for the lvl 10 computer tech so I may have a few trade requests a bit later on.
