it's to try and help people learn to type properly - lots of shortened "text-speak" in posts may make it quicker for people to type but it makes it just a little harder to read

plus some people find it really irritating and looks a bit immature really - like if you know someone who talks like a baby when they are infact 21 :p

edit: who made it 1:45am? :eek:

:D Grately appriciated Davey! Now a choice:
a) stay up 4 hours to make sure everything is in the right place when i recieve it
or
b) sleep for 4 hours and hope i feel good enough to get up do my stuff and go back to sleep?

a) will probably manifest itself over the course of my browsing, i swear the internet in general is eating my time/life away :(.

I wouldn't mind a job at present, i cant believe some people stay unemployed for years on end, its so boring/repetitive.
I wish i hadnt fubar'd my sleep pattern up too, thats only adding to the constant slow/lathargic feeling. :(

I just found an inactive with a butt load of resources.

So i've set up about 5 raids on him tonight. It's something like 3 raids to the same person and they can ban you for the day if they like?? But i'm hoping the fact he's inactive means he won't be around anytime soon to ban me.

I saw this thread a while ago and decided to give it a go. I have been playing for a week or so now, and I'm building up nicely, but some guy came and crushed me.

Anyone in Universe 7 for an alliance? I'm at 3:247:8. (I saw there was one for Universe 3 but this thread is WAY too long to read the whole thing. Thanks)

Anyone feel an organised OGame post might be good?

Caustic there are a very small number of us in uni 7. I started a very very small alliance with rich99million just so we could have an alliance tag to put people off a little. Its probably worthless anyway but hey.
Do you have the coords of the person who hit you, I could perform a little payback for you, it will take time to get my fleet over to that galaxy but I do have a colony there to raid from.

Need a care package?
 
Woot! After the pitiful 50 fields I picked up for my 3rd colony, I sent my 4th colony ship last night, hoping to wake up to something nice. It's only got 258 fields! :D That's going to be a nice little colony, set in a position that seems to have plenty of nice targets around as well :)

I'm quite close to you - just over in 3:323:8

the alliance me and Ian are in is called SCUM - like he said we just figured an alliance tag next to our name probably puts a small number of people off looking closer

i concentrate more on my uni3 account but i keep popping into my uni7 account just to keep tabs and start some more research/raiding

:D Thanks for letting me know, I won't be getting rod of my planet with 50 fields any time soon then. May just build a shipyard on it and use it as a raiding planet, and use my other colony nearby as a proper planet.

Ah, yeah it could be to do with that. Building up a shipyard and some storage on a 50 field planet should still be alright though, and it's in a decent spot raid wise, so I might well keep it for now.

As a side note, the cheeky git from last night has apologised for attacking me. I think he got worried when I told him all his missile attack did was annoy me. I may leave him be for now, until I get a bigger and better fleet, then I'm going to stomp on him :D
