That's why I would never try to fleet save like that. It's always to a debris field, or if I have no recyclers, it's a slow attack to an unguarded inactive. Much much safer.

Man !!! i want those res, if it were for those damn Gauss Canons he has. 109 is way too many to make anyone worth while.

And who built over nearly 1000 small lasers anyway? !

I got fleet crashed this morning

I had to go out to work unexpectedly today and I have just got back to find most of my fleet gone for a 19% moon chance and no moon either

When you go after a debris field can any one else find out you are after or once done that you have hit it? or is it all in secret? before i start hitting debris fields belong to the wrong people and get kicked into touch when then send there big fleet after me.

Its not to bad after all, I have a fair amount of res on fleet saves and all my colonies have a fair bit of res on them. I still have a few battleships as well elsewhere so I should be back on my feet in no time and I have just traded 200k of Deut as well.

No one knows if you go to a DF.

So you can also fleetsave to them in perfect safety.
(Except if you are under phalanx range)

got set back a bit after getting raided but have had a very good days raiding and my first nanite factory is on it's way

i think i will move my fleet to another planet as i keep getting probed and two of the people probing my have moons close by, also not much left around my home planet now, time for new raiding grounds

I am 1 level off robotic, 2 off computers to get nanites !!! prob still like a week away. I want it before i start building fleets or defences, that way i'd save a lot more time.

i got carried away when i could build battleships and concentrated on building them and i lost aload of cargos in a raid ,so when i came to fleet saving i couldn't get all my res onboard and i got raided, i'm not gonna make that mistake again i've built loads of large cargo's now

what raymonds doing is right thing to do.

when i started i spent ALL my res on fleets and not research. that meant that when my whole fleet got phalanaxed i lost everything and also lost more than half my points.

its taken me a month to rebuild but this time ive spent most my res on research .

I have 8 Battleships, 20 crusiers, some Heavy and Light Fighters to take on the occational defences for Raids. But a REAL fleet will have to wait, after research, i am going to built defences, and I mean a REAL one. i take it 4 figures for the small canons and 100 Plasma Canon should be enough to scare away most people.

After that, Fleets !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It will take ages thou since without a large fleet, it would be hard to raid the big boys.

Yep - I've seen a few people going back into noob protection...

HOW?

Just with mines it was impossible for me to drop below 5K points when I had 8K.
Just didn't have that much of a fleet.

This investing heavily in mines is paying off though.

Lots of res on lots of planets - Need to delete some now though for tactical and practical reasons.

Just found 200k of res in a DF.....sent my recyclers anyway, 90% chance it'll be all gone by the time it gets there...3 hours 40 mins journey time!

Damn it's gone already ! oh well...

I'm really starting to get into this now lol, it's a great time killer at work, just waiting for my stock levels to build up so I can build more

,after a couple of days playing I have the following:

Metal Mine (Level 4 )
Crystal Mine (Level 4 )
Deuterium Synthesizer (Level 3 )
Solar Plant (Level 6 )
Robotic Factory (Level 1 )
Research Lab (Level 1 )

Is that a good start?

Did you tell Davey you've joined? They can sent you some res to start you off too. All my slots are taken at the mo, but when they are back. I can sent you some Metal if you want.
