***The (renamed) official Ogame thread***

Yeah, Osgiliath is on the Anduin between Minas Morgul and Minas Tirith.

Trying to spread it out though, thats why Doriath and Edoras and Rivendell and Belfalas are all there. Belfalas is in Gondor and there's Edoras in Rohan too, so need to be away from that area really.

[edit]Might go with Tol Eressëa. Or Valinor. Or both :p

Hmmm, methinks you know a lot about LOTR. I've only seen the films, not even read the books yet (yes I'm a philistine. I do actually own them, and will get around to it one day) :o

I've signed up for the "Commander" info/view and found it very handy, especially the empire view now that I have a few colonies. I'm building up my fleet(s) again after the crash from last week (though slowly) and I've avoided an attack by messaging the guy after I had fleetsaved (was civilised about it all).

Found an area that seems to be pretty empty so I've got a colony there and my plans are to build up a fleet there as it's over 280 fields. :)

Yeah. I'm a bit of a geek when it comes to LOTR. Must've read the books 20+ times now. The Hobbit possibly more.

You really should read LOTR dude, but make sure you read The Hobbit first :)

Its always worth having accompanying literature too if you want to really know whats going on and where. Maps, explanations of areas and histories, etc. The books stand alone without them but there's whole dimensions that are simply glossed over.

I have The Hobbit too (got all 4 in a box set a while ago), so I'll give it a go at some point I do love the films so I definitely have some incentive to read them, I can imagine the books have far more detail and character depth.

You have no idea.

I really wish I could read them afresh. Discover them again.

I envy people that haven't read them.

As expected he's now probed all of my planets in that area.

Glad I was online. My 200 ship fleet has been elsewhere since the first probe he sent, and everything is now spent up.

You don't have fodder?

I've got over 100 LFs for my 20 Battleships.

Add my cargos and the fleet I was talking about is over 200 - and that doesn't include a fleet I run from a colony.

I don't have fodder as i don't intent to attack planets with fleets, Bombers take cares of it all. Just 15 Bombes can handle 200 Small Lasers. Wonderful things they are.
