It is 100% free to play, however there are features you can pay money for.

I myself have never payed a penny for Ogame and have been playing it for 2years now.

You have to re-sign up in uni3 if you want to start in a new universe.

The OcUK alliance is T.N.G and T.N.G.A for newer players. :)
 
How is uni3 now? I used to play back in the day, got my moon destroyed by highace then had a little break but never came back, looks like my account has been deleted. Would be keen to come back now I have some more free time.

Uni 3 still the place to be? Or has it matured so much now that starting would be a waste of time because I'll never get anywhere/no fellow noobs around to attack?


Uni 30 has double speed? Could be good to restart there?

Well, HighAce isn't playing anymore :D

Uni 3 is alright now, went through a dip in numbers, but there seem to be many more players starting all the time again now. :)

I played uni30 for a bit, but keeping a fleet safe requires a lot more work, you need more res to send fleets further, and you can be attacked 12 times per planet per 24 hours because of the double speed.

If you've got tons of time go for it. I prefer uni3 though. :D
 
uni 6 here.

dunno what its like in the other unis but the number 1 player in here is so far ahead of everyone else it isnt even funny.

its just a matter of time before he send 400-500 deathstars at you or summit daft like that.

very frustrating.

apart from him though its canny. :p

Bingo! You remember then :D Many other people still play? Tempted to restart on 3 because of the Alliance but also attracted by 32 because most people will still be just as young as me so it'll be fairer. Hmmmmm
 
Just started in Uni19, seems rather quiet and all newbs which suits me fine as this is my first game.

I'm currently mining metal and upgrading power to suit, will get interesting once I start some research and get some ships.

Seems quite interesting so far.
