I like the game overall as the devs really stuck close to the source material especially with the hiring of Peter Weller, The same way they did for their Terminator game all staying true to the first 2 Terminator films. They don't make the most expansive indepth games but they do what is required, Entertain.

Slightly better RT would've been nice though.

Exactly. Bigger studios could learn a thing or two from them.

Yup it's very impressive what they have done, however, the game is on a very small scale so had it been bigger with more going on, I suspect we would have seen more of the problems we see with other bigger titles, still, it's a welcome change in the **** show of games we have now.

Seems CDPR aren't done with CP 2077 yet :eek:

And today at 4pm, free copy of deliver us mars, which features lots of RT goodness :cool:

Epic.. I think I'll pass. That's got to be worse than installing a cracked game. Lol

Lovely dubbly ray tracing goodness :cool:

Nasty disgusting SSR artefacts:

zAWqUIW.gif

Performance is better after restarting the game when changing graphical effects but still have those random fps drops every now and then with new areas.

Also, only discovered these after recording the videos but them disgusting artefacts with shimmering/aliasing are because of still having forced motion blur and depth of field, add this to the engine.ini file to get flawless dlss upscaling

[SystemSettings]
r.MotionBlur.Amount=0
r.MotionBlur.Max=0
r.MotionBlur.Scale=0
r.MotionBlurQuality=0
r.MotionBlurSeparable=0
r.DefaultFeature.MotionBlur=0
r.SceneColorFringe.Max=0
r.SceneColorFringeQuality=0
r.Tonemapper.GrainQuantization=0
r.Tonemapper.Quality=0
r.DepthOfFieldQuality=0

And it has hdr support so all in all, a treat for the eyes on oled UW :D

Edit:

Hdr is actually poor as it's over saturated big time, which isn't immediately obvious until you're on earth.

Nvidia blog post is interesting

Should be a class action lawsuit or something to stop their absolute twaddle they came out with

over 10 bil revenue, can't release a demo they claim was finished and would be released in november 2022.

makes you wonder if what they showed off, was actually playable in the first place or just a pre rendered video
