Remember the claims of rDNA 3 RT.... As per usual, take with a huge truck load of salt. Hopefully they do though as it's clear what direction the gaming industry is heading so they would be very foolish not to act now.Hmmmm
AMD's next-gen RDNA 4 Radeon graphics will feature 'brand-new' ray-tracing hardware
AMD is getting serious about ray-tracing performance, RDNA 4's RT hardware for Radeon is said to be 'brand new' and 'completely different.'www.tweaktown.com

Maybe for once they can release before Nvidia, instead of waiting six months after them and price them OK from launch. Probably unlikely.

We are making a lot of improvements in UE's rendering pipeline by taking advantages of RTX hardware. It happens on UE NvRTX branchhttps://developer.nvidia.com/game-engines/unreal-engine/rtx-branchHere is the latest ReSTIR GI implementation that we've done in UE5, which lights the scene with only emissive materials
Ray reconstruction and ReSTIR GI are my 2 fav technologies having seen how it transforms Cyberpunk from a noisy path/ray traced image to a super clean and almost CGI-looking image. It's brilliant.
Why would AMD put time and effort into improving RT performance when their customers are constantly telling us how much they dislike RT?Hmmmm

True that, they should be putting the effort in order to have at least 32 or 64GB vRAM cards, that surely will matter in the future! I'm sure a diversity in the rocks and blades of grass will be appreciated! Why would AMD put time and effort into improving RT performance when their customers are constantly telling us how much they dislike RT?
Again, such a relevant and accurate article, should really be pinned tbh
