The textures in the remasters are quite a let down due to the engines being based on last gen console versions, You can get OG Crysis 1 which has better textures in many areas, On top of that you can get the readily available Rygel texture update from Moddb that came out a decade+ ago and get even better visuals.

Same with OG Crysis 2, Get the MaldoHD+Blackfire2 mod again readily available on Moddb, Both from 8+ years ago, And it is better looking in many areas minus 2, RT reflections and RT shadows.

Not really though. Must be another reason why you would think they seemed pretty good. ;)
:cry::eek::D:o:p:o:eek::mad::(:confused:

Looks like a pretty good improvement to me :)

No surprise though given how ray tracing is somewhat used a fair bit more in crysis 2 and 3 (and the environments show it of far more than likes of crysis 1 did). Also, comparisons to the moddb too.

2 sees some nice improvements . 3 not so much.
I can't wait to pick them up in an epic sale and never play them.:D
If you've already played them at max or close to max settings it's not really going to be worth the money.

Yeah the Crysis remaster trilogy is great, just look at.. Holy Shaaaaat, that's got to be a contender for worst ever game optimized for AMD

need a rx6800 to get 60fps at 1080p and a 6700xt just get 40fps at 1080p

Performance with AMD GPUs is definitely a total disaster but c'mon how many times we've got to say it? GameGPU results are FAKE, they don't actually test all those cards/processors. They have like 2 configs and then they extrapolate based on that where they think each card should land.

Disappointed that the only notable things they did to 3 is add RT reflections and planar reflections.

I bought these at the weekend playing 2 mostly at the minute love the ray tracing all I can see is them big red eyes lol of the nanosuit 2 lol not gonna bother playing 1 didn't like the spaghetti western gun noises lol..

God of War – First PC tech details revealed, will support GTAO, SSDO & NVIDIA DLSS.

https://www.dsogaming.com/news/god-...-revealed-will-support-gtao-ssdo-nvidia-dlss/

The official Steam store page for God of War has revealed the first PC tech details for it. God of War on PC will feature numerous graphical effects that weren’t in the PS4 version. Not only that, but it will support NVIDIA’s DLSS and Reflex techs.

Going into more details, God of War PC will support true 4K resolutions with unlocked framerates for peak performance. Additionally, it will have a wide range of graphical presets and options including higher resolution shadows, improved screen-space reflections, the addition of GTAO and SSDO, and much more.

Moreover, NVIDIA owners will be able to use DLSS and Reflex. As its Steam store page states:

“Harness the AI power of NVIDIA Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) to boost frame rates and generate beautiful, sharp images on select Nvidia GPUs. Utilize NVIDIA Reflex low latency technology allowing you to react quicker and hit harder combos with the responsive gameplay you crave on GeForce GPUs.”

It’s also worth noting that the game will support DUALSHOCK 4 and DUALSENSE wireless controllers. It will also have full support for mouse and keyboard. Not only that, but God of War will support ultra-wide monitors.

Lastly, it appears that Sony Santa Monica is working on this PC port, and not Nixxes.

God of War is coming to PC on January 14th, 2022!
