This new design is great I ran Heaven and the card was very quite. It never got above 72c. The 10 series 1080 shot up to 83c is like 1 min. This new card was cool and silent. They did a great job on this new cooler. Very happy. It also boosted to 2050mhz

You have to give Nvidia credit, they know exactly what they are doing. Looks like they now have their board partners in their sights given the excellent build quality of the FE cards.

I think over time DLSS will improve this new series. I'm just shocked at how well built, cool and quiet this new FE card is. Blows the 10 series FE cards away. At least they got one thing right

Yes, but NVIDIA want to shake board partners off altogether in future, too.

I think their's a synergy there tbh, more of the market fair enough but they can afford to streamline the amount of partners a little if need be.

The 2080 or Ti? The 2080 seems to be noticeably quieter than the Ti from reviews I've read. You have the card yourself?

Well that is true...

I mean I’ve at least installed the card in the system now!! The curse of working from home when things get delivered!!

The Graphics Card support my case came with was extremely handy as that card weighs down alright, much heavier than my 1080 FE.

Can’t wait to mess about with this later now.
