I wouldnt say that Chelsea are involved directly but as has been stated MSI have connections both formal and informal with a lot of London and Manchester. So although it may not be proved or evidence to hand I dont think it would come as any great suprise to learn that RA has some connection to MSI and in turn could have influenced their destination

Newcastle will make up there minds one minute milner is going the next he is staying :p , i would be very surprised if anyone signs for the toon now .

That's fair enough.
Even if that were the case it has nothing to do with Chelsea, and if RA is involved with MSI they wouldn't of been able to make an offer for WHU a few years ago:)

i just hope its chelsea using WHU as a trojan horse to check out the players... if its MSI trying to take over WHU then .... i will be sorely disappointed.. and i think a lot of fans will be too once the head in the clouds high that everyone is experiencing right now comes to a screeching halt.. and the ticket prices go up and the team is whored out to commercial interests.. lol

Quite frankly im shocked.
More so than a certain striker moving to Chelsea.

Two of the worlds most highly rated players, going to, and no offence to hammers fans, a team that isnt really that good compared to who they could have both gone two.
And to top it, Ole going to Sunderland!? Another blunder by Fergie imo.
 
There's more speculation that RA has nowt to do with MSI & some blokes called Kia Joorabchian & Berezovsky are their financial backers & they and RA are not on the best of terms (to put it politely), so it's very unlikely that RA has anything to do with MSI.
 
Wow, I can't believe this transfer is permanent according to West Ham. Considering it would cost £40 million to buy them both, how is deal being financed? I like West Ham and hope they do well this season, but I have concerns for their future as it now seems entwined with MSI.

As a United fan I am a little gutted that we have missed Maschcerano, but maybe Reo-Coker is coming if this is a permanent deal.
