Well I think cole will be a worse player for going to chelsea, just don't see his style of play fitting in there. Think Gallas could be a solid centre back though which is where i think he'll be played mostly.

MSI seem to have a shady reputation to me.

They bailed Corinthians out in Brazil in return for control of the club and its players and now seem to be moving them about between clubs they interested in buying!

Maybe MSI have brought them to the premiership for a season so if they set the world alight then they can command an even bigger fee off Chelsea next season by saying they proven in English football?

Dunno if i'd be happy with them buying my club or not as i'm not sure they've got its best interests at heart tbh.

I really hope the Cole/Gallas deal goes through, as Cash isn't any good too us at the moment and Bill could tighten up the defence and give Kolo some much needed help.

I still hoped we'd have another couple of signings, but I think the stadium has taken more out of us than they care to admit.

Bet Mascherano and Tevez are gutted they're being made to play for a naff club for a couple of years to either bump up they're value for english clubs or prep them for Chelsea

Yeh, its good business sense.

buy the player on the cheap in south america.. give them to european club and make your profits when they are sold between clubs in europe. provided they cut the mustard.

As a CB Gallas is better, but as a LB Cole is. We need a LB as Gallas doesn't want to play for us anymore.
If Gallas was happy to stay & play at LB when needed I'd prefer him & Bridge over Cole, unfortunately that's not the case

how can WHU own the players yet not own them at the same time?

why sign them with WHU when there were already offers for tevez? the only answer for that is that they want more for tevez than was offered.. and that they will appreciate in value at WHU ...

very strange...

as long as they have no hand in the running of WHU im happy... lol

Which is all well and good for West Ham IF they recieve some of this newly aquired booty to spend on players. I wouldnt be very happy if my club was sold down the river to some company so they can use it as a players interest bank!

They've always been known as a club for producing quality home grown players not for having big time charlies who are only there to be in the shop window.

Caution required here I think.
