The RX Vega 64 Owners Thread

Well I've seen a lot of people on OCN using Kryonaut and I would assume if I had pasted mine correctly it would have been pretty good. Conductonaut is a bit of a PITA as you need to seal the resistors with clear nail polish or something like that to stop any excess Liquid Metal shorting things out. I haven't personally tested many different pastes on GPU's though.

Cheers. Kryonaut it is then.

(Update) Upgraded to the new current drivers... **** is still missing

I run win 7 and win 10 and it doesn't show up in win 7, no problems with it in win 10 though.
Interesting with windows 7, Do you get any strange issues like 50% of the time after restarting the pc AMD drivers for some reason are extremely unstable and crash every 30secs and at the same time the gpu core clock for some reason going to 1670mhz when doing anything and being stuck like it. ?

No, haven't seen those issues myself except when I experimented with using that "clockblocker" program.

I've now got my Vega 64 LE installed but I could do with a picture of someone's tweaked voltage settings as I do not know where to start with these states and what not.

Can someone help me please?

EDIT: I regret going M-ATX with my Ryzen build as I've limited my gpu options too much, As my expertly crafted red line shows I need something that is no higher than this.

It can be as long as a Bond bug and 3 lanes thick, that's not the issue, It's finding a high end Vega card that stays below the red line which is likely to be impossible..

Went to v17.11.1 from v17.10.3, no issues so far. SP 4K/3DM FS bench the same for same settings. GPU holds same OC as before, did ~1hr 3DM FS Demo loop, running Bionic now.

@AMDMatt

Any chance of WattMan allowing saves of differing profiles in future drivers? enjoying the card for sure :D , no regrets on off loading GTX 1080 so far ;) .
I think this is one request that is being looked at.

Well, reference cards are that "high".
Because anything higher doesn't comply with PCI standard.
