The Saboteur

Prisoner of War?. That takes me back a bit!! :D

I never got around to completing it, I think ( and I don't know how I remember this ) I got to a level where you had to stop a V2 or V1 rocket from taking off?.

Quite a nifty little game for its time ;-

Sadly the game is quite broken for the PC. I get memory leaks choppy FPS. Tried various different things and have to run it in a windowed mode for it run smoother.
Strange thing with this game is lowering the settings don't make any difference.

Good game but really poor port, not as bad as GTA 4 however which I still cannot run lol.

For you, maybe. I've had no problems with it.

I got past that part,very hit and miss through, than after that you got back to the castle( can't spell the name) I think can't remember it had a annoying habit to minimize itself :mad:
 
Tefal, I have no other problems with any games but this one. So I seriousley doubt it's just me when theres various threads all over the internet of people having serious problems playing it.

To all those who run the game perfect, what OS and gfx card drivers u got?

I'm using XP with latest geforce drivers.
 
I thought it was just ATI owners having hassles with the game but I'm not sure. Anyway, my spec is in my sig. Running Vista Ultimate 32, Nvidia Palit 9800 GTX+ 512Mb. Drivers are 182.50's.
 
this is odd, maybe it likes crossfire, I had this issue with merc 2, had a HD4870 ran like well crap, brought another one ran with very few problems, than I got two HD4890 now it runs like a conlse (very smooth)


when I get saboteur i will try it with xfire and without see what happens
 
not really.

iirc one of the resident evil ports was so bad there was no option exit or quit. you had to ctrl alt del to shut it down.
 
I think you can buy stuff from it with these points, you have to register the game with it through, other than that I m not sure
 
About time to.

We have been working tirelessly to address the current reported PC issues for The Saboteur over the last few weeks & I am happy to announce that we will be releasing a BETA patch* this coming Friday to address ATI and Nvidia graphics card compatibility issues. The initial testing of the BETA Patch has rendered promising results.. I thought it was just me?

I'll start playing again on Friday when this patch comes out.
