**The Secret World**

...I've just figured out decks for example, but I guess I can't move some SP I've already placed in the skill wheel. Can you reset and start it again?...

This is the thing that bugs me the most - you cannot reset SP & AP. I understand the concept behind the ability wheel and I'd love it if you could actually reset the points.
For example, I wanted to see how Necromancer (rifle/blood) works so I invested 20something AP plus SP in it and it turns out to be quite rubbish, at least in the beginning. So if I want to switch on pistol/sword (for ex.), I have to wait until I get new points while the ones I already have are useless (until much later in the game). That's retarded, from my pov. The game is not easy, you can't just zerg through the mobs so the SP&AP really matter.
I have no problem with graphics, runs OK in DX11 Ultra (30-60fps) but there's quite a lot of bugs/glitches. Chat is one of them; another is when you select a player then press ESC to clear, it doesnt. Press ALT to select yourself, returns to the previous target. You have to hit F1 to remain self-selected. I mean... lots of little stupid things.
I really want to like the game as I like Funcom but with GW2 F2P around the corner, I doubt I can stick around with TSW. We'll see...

Personally I don't find it a bad thing there's no respec. Makes you think a bit about what you want to focus on first, and as said you build up the AP's so fast it hardly matters.

There's no AP point cap, so it's no too much of a problem. All the skills seem a bit rubbish at first, and 20 AP is absolutely nothing, they start to come a lot more quickly later on.

It's the games way of rewarding people who've played longer - they'll have a lot more options as to how to play their character.

I also like it because it makes you think hard about your choices, and it bugs people who've gotten used to stamping their foot and getting everything they want ;)

There is a AP cap.

You are not allowed to carry more than 80 unspent AP points and 40 SP points. Also the more you carry the less XP you get. But other than that its unlimited.

Feel free to drop me a message anytime /tell Zaz and if you want a join active CABAL (Templars) again drop me a tell.

We are not the biggest nor do we plan to be, but there is enough of us to run 2/3 group instances a night (currently doing Elites), PVP.

Made a Templar guild for OcUK'ers last night. If you want in, let me know your character name on here, and I'll add you and send you an invite when we're both online at the same time (I find it ridiculous that I can't seem to send an invite to join when the other person is offline, but eh). If you can apply to join in the game (not looked into this), then the cabal name is Horologium Custodes. But then again, SPG ^^^^ may have the better option :p

Anyone got a good dps build for Pistols/Rifles/Shotgun using only the inner tier? Can add any other weapon but want a gun in there :)

Cheers

The only issue I get is what feels like a video driver lockup every now and again, it black screens for a few seconds, then reloads the environment & I'm good to go again. I have an old system mind, and it fairly regularly just hard locks up in other games anyway. I'm past caring really, in days gone by I'd have tried for days to sort it but tbh I'd rather just deal with it right now hehe.

Can't comment on the reconfigured keys, since I just use the default - maybe use that for a bit until the saving of settings is sorted? Regardless, if that's 'too many issues with the game' I'd recommend staying away from mmorpg launches :)
I know the score with MMO releases so I am not going to let it bother me. I will log in after every update to see what gets fixed. It is a pity though as the game does look the most interesting to come out for years.

Caved in and picked up this game yesterday. Was going to wait for GW2, but for 24 quid worth a shot.

Extremely glad I did, one of the best mmo's played in a while. I love the complexity of the skill wheel. I don't feel like i'm walking into questhubs, vacuuming up all quests and doing them without care. And best of all, without the leveling system I don't feel in a rush to get to end game etc. I can just do the areas at my own pace exploring the world. Very refreshing

I rolled a templar and interested in joining a cabal. Only thing i hate so far is my character name.. 'Bellator80'. I hate numbers in a name, but couldn't find any variance of Bellator (name i use in all mmo's) going so stuck with this for now :(

Yeah, I'm a little more forgiving of the issues I'm having just down to how much I'm enjoying it when it works ok. I doubt I'll be as cheery the first time I get an issue in pvp mind ;)

This game is suprisingly good, seemed to come out of the blue. Will tide me over till guild wars and will see if I renew after the 30 days are up.
