Built this to potentially replace my Asustor NAS:

Antec ISK-110 case
Asrock z77e-itx
4GB DDR3
i5 2500k
1x2TB 2.5" hard drive
1x64GB Crucial M4 SSD

Replacing the 2500k with an i3 3220 as its too powerful for this case. May end up getting another 2TB drive and replace the M4 with an MSATA SSD.

Pretty darn small and well specced for the size.

Just bought this case myself. Stuck the following inside

ASRock Z97E-ITX/AC, Intel Z97, S 1150, DDR3, SATA III 6Gb/s, SATA RAID, PCIe 3.0 (x16), DP/DVI/HDMI, Mini ITX
Intel Core i5 4590T, 1150, Haswell Refresh, Quad Core, 2.0GHz Base, 3.0GHz Turbo, 1150MHz GPU, 35W, CPU
16 gb DDR3
Transcend 2242 256 GB SATA3 Solid State Drive (to go in the m.2 slot of motherboard)
250GB SAMSUNG 840 SSD as photoshop drive
1tb WD blue drive for everything else

Great little setup. :D

New build using the Lian Li PC-Q10 itx case, found it adequate size wise for all hardware components and enough space behind the motherboard for keeping most wiring hidden. Still need to tidy some of the fan wiring, only problem I noticed was the HDD/SSD mounting on the base of the case if you try to install an SSD in the middle slot. The middle slot is directly opposite the rear metal mounting frame for the motherboard, this leaves little if any room to input the SATA/Power connectors into the SSD so in my build I had to leave the middle mounting slot empty.

Just bought this case myself.

Its a great little case,Well impressed when i got mine.

I have an AM1 based board in mine with a AMD Athlon Quad core & 60GB SSD,4GB Generic 1600Mhz ram..only a HTPC but does the job very well.

Last week end i added 4x castor wheels to my gaming desktop Fractal case to make moving it easier, was a nightmare if i ever needed to get to the back of the system or move it out for cleaning because its so heavy.

Will get a few pics tomorrow.

(I need to update the front picture as I have softened the flame lighting and blocked off the areas that should not let light through, it also changes from blue to red as it heats up)

I recently bought this for a media server:

minipc.jpg

Fanless, passively cooled and small. The case is aluminium and acts as the heatsink so it's completely silent.

Specs:

Intel Broadwell i7 5557u (3.1ghz/3.4ghz turbo)
16GB DDR3
500gb Samsung 850 Evo
Arch Linux

It sits nicely behind my TV and I use it for music/videos as well as some games (Rocksmith and Jackbox party pack work great via wine) and mega drive/snes emulators.

This is very cool (helps when a company has such a helpful lgo for the cool factor :D)

Awesome work with the cooling also in such a small space.

Just a note the red dragon was laser cut and then painted by me :) there is a stock dragon but it was just a picture on the material behind the front grill.

Thanks for the kind words :D

So I've went back to SFF as I managed to source an Asus P8Z77-I Deluxe in the US so my Socket 1155 is still going :) It's completely dwarfed by my HP Envy 32" Monitor though!

How are you finding this? Can the heatsink cope with the i7 running under stress or does it throttle back.

Tempted by the i3 version to replace my celeron NUC.
