Like the look of that, especially as I don't need much graphics power.

Would Silverstone's SFX PSU fit with the 750Ti? If the 3.5" hard drive wasn't fitted.

Asus matx mobo (cant remember the model number)

Sadly no, it wouldn't.
The low profile 750 ti is dual slot and will block the use of the PSU space.
Originally I was going to import a Lone Industries L2 case.

Then the ML06 appeared and I decided I could have the same look for a marginal increase in size over the L2.
It also opened the door to put in the 3.5" SSHD and better CPU cooling which would not have worked in the L2

The build was always going to use a Pico PSU, finding the right case was the time consuming bit.
I despise cubes and shoeboxes and much prefer a "tower" look.

Tempted to order the new L3 for a Pascal / Skylake Xeon build though, he only does limited runs and they are very unique.
Revised dimensions, superb little case.
We're finally at a stage where Pico PSU's can power capable little gaming boxes and it's been a long time coming.

It feels good to be back at a desktop again although I lost a bet with my Wife that I could not do a year only on Laptops.

Lovely Moogleys
I am on the lappy currently. New desktop within the year but I have to be honest I am loving taking this on the road and playing on the 120Hz screen

Camera makes the colours weird it's dark blue and black in real life. It's not the nicest of case colours but it does the job and sits under the desk out of sight....:)

Reversed the colours of Power/HDD LED (Red is power, Blue is HDD)

A bad angle shot

All flat power supply cables are shoved behind the motherboard, can also see the SSD shoved in a small gap above the PSU

980 was a pain to install, literally touching the front of my case. had to offset the motherboard screws by about 2mm

980 with back plate make it hard to reintall the I/O shield, so gave up, used ziptie to hold GPU in place.

Back into ITX, as the Carbide 500r and H100 was extreme overkill for my setup!
Think I'll maybe plug into TV for Steam big picture mode.

A10 7850K, 16gb Crucial 1866Mhz, A88XI AC V2, Corsair H90/Noctua N14-P14s
