The Show Off Your Tattoo Thread

How many nights did you guys wrap your sleeves for?, mines still raw as hell the day after (all shading last session!)

I had mine wrapped up for a few hours after and that was it. Just made sure I slept on my non tattooed arm at night.

When i had my sleeve done, the wrap came off as soon as i was home.

Washed with warm soapy water to take the Vaseline off, then bepanthem.

Underwater themed sleeve in progress, I've had three sittings so far. Last piece was the treasure chest on Wednesday last week.

Started at the bottom of my arm because I'm having some old tribal piece laser removed at the top first :)

Hi, how have you found laser removal and if you don't mind me asking how much is it costing as I'm interested in having some removed too.

anyone interested, my best friend is fast becoming a very recognised name in the UK tattoo industry.

featured in a few magazines and websites recently too

Cool :), will give it a look later (none filtered internet!).

5 days into healing & the shading on my elbow has all but broken (naturally dry & hard skin has peeled), that's with 4 days a day bepanthen application - so looks like I'm going to need a touch-up job at the end.

On the plus side I've got some nice fresh clean skin coming through on my elbow for the first time in ages :D - downside is that it was the most bloody painful section to get done in the first place :/.

My elbow is going to need to be done at some point (and kneecaps), just wondering how painful did you find it?

Elbow was horrible, worse than by the armpit & the chest by a long margin for me.

It's a different kind of pain (almost like nerve sensitivity or something as my hand kept twitching).

Thankfully it's not that big, so didn't take that long.

this is my back so far sorry if the image comes out wrong i havnt posted one yet not really sure what im doing

On the right hand side of your photo on photobucket is the word IMG with the following code next to it
Code:
[URL=http://s880.photobucket.com/user/parkwaydrive2013/media/7a922e7f-5b08-476f-9578-ad4143c3897b_zps34bebdf9.jpg.html][IMG]http://i880.photobucket.com/albums/ac3/parkwaydrive2013/7a922e7f-5b08-476f-9578-ad4143c3897b_zps34bebdf9.jpg[IMG][URL]
. Copy and paste it into the forum reply box and it will automatically do it for you.

If you want to do it manually:
IMG is Image Tags, which look like this
Code:
[IMG][/IMG]
. When you put them either side of a URL for an image, it will just display the image.

Example:
You want this image
http://i.imgur.com/3k4sGaw.jpg

Wrap it with IMG tags
Code:
[IMG]http://i.imgur.com/3k4sGaw.jpg[ /IMG]

To get this
3k4sGaw.jpg

And thus ends todays lesson :)

thankyou mate :D

I know this thread is to show off tattoos but...

I'm after a small tattoo of a shark to go on the outer side of my left wrist. I'm after something simple, something like a simple outline that is almost like a stick figure/ cartoon like but not like a child's drawing :p I'm not really a fan of how shark tattoos usually turn out, vicious looking things , hence wanting something like this.

I've had a few design attempts myself but I just can't get something I like. I don't suppose any of you fine lot would be willing to quickly knock up a design for me? :)

I'm also after a spear shaft from a spear gun going up the back of my right arm but that is simply enough to design. I'm just hoping it isn't going to be too thin or too hard to do because it is made up of long straight lines. I'm just not sure which way round to have it! *edit* Maybe this will be better on the back of my forearm...

Something like this:

Only just saw this, sorry for not responding sooner. It hurts more than being tattooed but is over quickly.

I have two quite large tribal pieces on both my upper arms I'm having removed and they've been doing them for £80 for both at a time.

I have found somewhere cheaper but the place I have been having it done at has a great laser so I'm told and it's convenient for me as I work nearby so I'm loathe to try somewhere else :)

I had noticeable results after the first session and it's getting better, wish I'd taken photos before and after each time to show.

All done.

Black & white version (So you can tell what it's going to look like once the red goes - also adjusted for poor brightness/blacks are actually black)
