Which DVI monitor bug is that? I'm having issues with a DVI monitor, but I'm not sure of the cause. It won't let me calibrate - says that a profile is missing or something?

I shall try that now actually...

I usually just shove it on Adobe RGB and leave it :p

Edit: No its fine here with calibration.

Installation on the MBP went flawlessly, I had permission issues with the Mac Pro due to having the home folder off the main HD so when it came round to getting access to the files again it wasn't have ANY of it...

Anyway:

I am LOVING the wake speed now, in fact the general speed is ridiculous! Installation was 7Gb for me, haven't got round to doing the printers yet tho...

All in all money well spent IMO :)

Ok, The revolution works in 32bit but the LCC just refuse to find my mouse in 64bit, a bit of googling confirmed it. :(

The wait begins...

Well i booted up to it and everything worked nicely...

Doesn't default to it on my 2009 Mac Pro...

2009 Mac Pro --> works
June 2007 Macbook Pro --> doesn't boot to 64 bit.

As for the Mac Pro in 64 bit mode...

All the apps work, I mean, every one :o I might force it to 64!

Edit 2: Actually 64 mode is a fallacy, its just the kernel. Google will show all :p

Hi guys, I have an older version iMac (Intel C2D 2.4Ghz, 4Gb DDR2, ATI Radeon 2400), would I see a benefit in upgrading to Snow Leopard? Or shall I just save my pennies for a new Mac with Snow Leopard pre-installed?

is it not possible for me to do a fresh install from my upgrade disk?

edit: not sure if its the right way, but chose Disk Utility from "Utilities" and erased it from there, and it now seems to be installing fine :) - 19 minutes left :p
