Buy a used sony 70-200. My F2.8 GM isn't much better than my F4 version to be fair, not enough to warrant the price difference anyway but its a bit late now and the F4 is going lol.Good to know.As above though, I'll have to pay full price now unless I sell my Canon 70-200mm and buy the GM version but ££££

As much as I like Sony FF cameras, the upcoming 31.49MP a7000 (baby a9) is starting to really excite me.

I don't need a 85mm but I still find myself keep looking at the 1.4 version even though my next step will likely be off loading a 70-200 and looking at the 100-400 or 1.4tc.
I ordered from a website called Pana moz (all one word) they were £250 cheaper than anywhere in the UK, comes with a 3 year UK warranty too.
It's moved very quickly but hasn't updated since 5am yesterday, probably already at my local depot but won't show that until it gets scanned tomorrow.

I imported the F4 last year, cant remember what I paid. The GM one was £2500
