The Suicide Squad 2021

If you are going to say Money, Marvel are notoriously poor payers, particularly for directors.
I'm going to say

  1. Money
  2. Fame
  3. He still likes making them
  4. They get great reviews and that boosts his reputation
  5. Just because marvel are strict, why would that mean he can't make more?
  6. Tell me the most famous movie gunn did before guardians 1? And then tell me if anyone knew who gunn was at that point.

Tough, they signed their contracts and got paid but they're now complaining that, years later, the character they revived is suddenly popular. On the other side is those like Alan Dean Foster who did work for Disney but didn't get paid the contracted amount, those guys deserve help and support, not folks who got paid and now are regretting the low price they set.
Agreed.

Isn't it actually Gunn dancing as Groot at the start of GOTG2 and mo-capped?

Yes. It was also him in the credit scene at the end of GOTG1

I quite liked SS2 it was way over the top in some respects it reminded me of Inglorious ******** where it was just way out of hand. (yes IB is a better film)
It was odd, full of mistakes, badly done in places and the end bit looked like a baddie straight out of Ghostbusters or maybe Pokemon.

Its a definite remove your brain, settle down with a load of your favourite alcholic beverage and a load of popcorn and forget the world for once and let your mind just run with it.

then at the end you think WTH was that I just watched!

I agree with all you've said, it was a fun, dumb film, it had a lot of minor issues but overall I really liked it, I laughed a lot and consider it a step up from the first SS movie.

Yeah, its bizarre isn't it. Maybe people who sold apple shares back in the day should ask for compensation. "I wouldn't have sold them if I knew how much money they would be worth".

You did X work for X pay and they paid you. A builder or decorator doesn't ask for a cut of your house sale because they added value to it.

If you want to start asking for clauses to be put in your contract that entitle you to X% of future revenue from your work, go ahead. They will probably tell you to **** off and get some else to do it but thats your prerogative.

Marvel/Disney are a cutthroat business who will pay as little as they can to as many people as they can because that makes the top brass richer. Thats literally all they care about. Anyone with half a brain knows this.
