Anyone looking to grab this? Sort of Dark Souls meets Edge of Tomorrow mash up.

The combat actually looks pretty good....

Out on the 16th May, cheapest I've seen it for PC is £29.

I played their previous game Lords of the Fallen, finished it, it was pretty good (7/10). This one seems lot better though.

looks okay, ill wait for a demo, wont buy it though, the combat looks slow and crappy, mean opening a trailer with a death as a result of slow action fighting.

Yes! You will also be able to adjust the HUD ratio to your liking in that case, and CGI movies are being displayed fullscreen w/o black bars in all their ultrawide glory.

On the fence a bit with this one. Dark Souls are probably my favorite games and this idea should be awesome.
However I watched Cohh on Twitch playing through it over that last few days and it seemed very repetitive and the combat was clunky.

Nice to see a dev supporting 21:9 from launch and cut scenes included, Combat to me looks like smoother than Dark souls which has always felt clunky imo.

Looks like a re-skinned Dark Souls to me.

I think I prefer Dark Souls' environments but, if this plays well, and apparently it does, then it's good to have more Souls-like to play.

not really, think i only played a bit of the first one once, but its not the only game that looks like it has slow actions during fighting, guess im use to more fast paced now.

It's a bit different to the Batman games, or Shadow of Mordor. I'm a bit of a noob with Dark Souls (~20 hours game time) but love the combat (Although the world map is my favourite bit - mindblowing)

It's not so much slow as it is deliberate. The weapons have weight, so a swing and miss can really cost you.

i would let up, people didnt understand the preference from my own view, anyways given up on that now, i dont care anymore lol, opinions vary and thats that.
