I have a newfound respect for innocent people in prison. Just sitting there counting days. I'm all out of my mind waiting with pc that can't run anything at 1440p without choking. At least if I drop some soap my ring muscle won't be violated.

I did find some 3070's in stock here in DK if your willing to pay 900-930 pounds. How about a 3090 for 2034 pounds? good deal right? :p That's retail and not even auctions.

Come on, daddy wants a 6800XT or 6800.

You not impressed with their Nitro or Pulse mukka?

Oh no i am, but often you find because the Sapphire Nitro+ is extremely good, its gouged to high hell by retailers... Where as the Red Devil is generally as good a card cooling and OC wise but often cheaper... Sapphire are always my #1 choice, but if its priced a lot higher than a competing product i wont bite.

I paid like £400 or something for my Red Devil edition with the RGB Mousemat etc, at the time the Sapphire Nitros were like £450.

Generally i look at OC first and then cooler, it has to be efficient and quiet for me personally, and lastly looks and other features. Sapphire normally wins on a lot of these, im not massively fond of the look of the Nitro+ model though, id actually like something this time round in White to match my case, PSU etc.

I know the feeling, but my Xbox SX should turn up today or tomorrow, so atleast i have that to pass the time, will probably wait now til new year for a 6800XT and 5900X combo, by then hopefully stock is good and we have the entire range of the 6800XT partner cards to choose from.

Didn't say anything about stock levels, that guy i quoted said if there was only an hours worth of stock it would be the same as a second of stock. Which still has me wondering
If you're unable to be available perfectly on the hour because of work, it doesn't make any difference if it's 5 seconds, 5 minutes or similar. You've missed it.

I will join you on that mate. I half tempted to call the bluff and see if any appear on the black friday deals..?

I have a question in regards to Sapphire cards which version is higher tier? Is it Nitro or Pulse? And was there any hint at what time on 18th the sale will start? I would like to avoid a similar situation to Zen 3 release where some were saying it's 2 pm and others 5 pm.

Is Nitro just better binned silicon with an factory oc or is there more to it than that? I have a RX570 Nitro + 8gb card I bought off the market here and it's an excellent card. But I think I'd be happy with either pulse or nitro 6800xt.

Well its hardly likely people are on onboard graphics and their really missing out is it? If time is that precious to you then perhaps forget about the brand new gen items and maybe enjoy life in other ways?..
like what?

Its not as if you can go out on a holiday abroad. You cant even meet people and socialise in a pub.

Yeah it has better visual features which isnt really making the card 'better' but they are likely the ones benching best and go into that flavour. Nothing wrong with the Pulse, that will tend to be clocked better than the reference sent by AMD.

I'd rather have a world that actually feels living and breathing than ray tracing. This game just looks and feels weirdly depopulated.

While the lighting and stuff looks really good in this game, the reflections etc look good, the game overall just looks boring... im tempted to buy it just to visit St Katherines Dock if possible to see if they added boats :) as i sail a lot, bringing out the sailing nerd in me haha.

I was impressed though with the level of graphic quality in the game, the lights at night time look great. Can only bode well for the future though, i expect in a years time we will be seeing much better looking games on these platforms once the devs have had time to work with the tooling.

Pretty sure CP2077 is going to make WDL look like crap. Parts of WDL like textures and models look really basic, definitely not next-gen overall.

I'm fairly impressed that it look like a fairly accurate representation of the physical London. They have taken a few liberties (where is St Stephens or the Red Lion?) and appear to have cut 1 out of 3 roads, but as a frequenter of Westminster/Waterloo area I could easily follow where they were going.
