I hear game engine turn the settings down for you when you run out of VRAM, you won't even get a chance to see the quality improvements;):p
 
Just reading earlier a big Swiss Retailer has said they will get only 35 6900's on release day. They will take orders for the 6900's from launch day then a week later will draw 35 orders at random complete the purchase/take payment and announce who the winners are. Rest will just get their order cancelled.

Nothing new there, even with delays most games are released early as they can just slap patches on them at will. Look at battlefield 5, delayed and still a buggy mess on launch and had a ton of missing features that only started to appear 7 or 8 months ago.

I don't disagree with battlefield V, but if 8 years is a rushed game I'm not sure whats real anymore :D

Glad they didn't do that when I got my RTX 3090 from them.

How can that be though? For the foreseeable future only AMD themselves will be selling the 6900. They have not said, at least publically, when retailers will be able to buy and sell them. Unless I have missed an announcment somewhere along the line.

The last good twitch shooter I played was Unreal Tournament and that was with a 56K modem. This is an RPG. You'll be fine with a 3080 at 1440p :)
