The "Top Gear", Season 24/25/26 thread

Always found Fifth Gear kind of dull and in an odd position of not being in depth and structured enough for a really serious car show, not having the personality and delivery of an entertaining one.

Yes but having actual racing drivers drive a car under test is a novelty(unique?), you need a budget more than youtube provides, too, + money for race/prooving track & filming
Stig became formulaic, just cars at super-car echelon.
some decent sarcasm from Jason/Viki/Karun/rory.

I wonder if manufacturers have some editorial control of tv programmes reviewing their cars.
When the hyundai ioniq 5n was being discussed watched a manufacturer documentary of them being prepped and raced on pikes-peak which was a good piece of publicity.

Saw plato advertising it on Twitter. Any good?
Stelvio wallowed around the corners, and he left me with a good impression of kia ev 6 gt handling - win for electric. (the power of celebrity advertising!)
I need to look on discovery+ to see if they have full episodes - since missed last 10 minutes with offroad urus.
