The Touchpad Android thread

The web browser feels 10x smoother than webos, using webos on this forum was clunky using the ics browser its very responsive . Absolutely no checker boarding to speak of unlike weboa. If cm ever get out of beta this tablet will be awesome . Going back to webos feels like using windows xp now I've used ics

One of my favourite things about ICS on the Touchpad so far is the little icon to switch between different keyboards. It's so much faster to change keyboards than in gingerbread.

Does anyone know if ICS has that icon on phones too? I've not seen it mentioned before.

Hey guys. Don't know if you have seen this. The chap who posted it on HotUKDeals said he was now running it on his Android Touchpad. Not sure what model he picked to download it though so some advice would be cool. Still only got C7 on mine but keen to try this once a more complete build comes out.

Love the Splashtop stuff so would like to pick it up free for Android if I can.

Really loving the performance on this latest 'alpha' v0! Is anyone else having any issues with wifi? Mine seems to occasionally lose connection to my network and I have to turn on airplane mode and then back off to reconnect.

The wifi was an issue for some people in CM7 wasn't it? Never had it myself but don't recall them saying it was fixed in this release...

Luckily I don't get it :p

After a few more days I'm still liking ICS, obviously infinitely better than Gingerbread but it's also a decent step up over WebOS imo, browsing especially is great, made the touchpad much more useful to me.

Although one thing that annoys me is that the kindle app in webos has a 2-page view in landscape, yet in Android it doesn't. This annoyed me so much that last night when I finished the 4th book in the Game of Thrones season instead of buying the 5th from Amazon I decided to switch to Google Books (same price helped :p) which lacks a Sepia colour mode but does have a 2-page view \o/

What dpi do you all use? I assume none of you are using the stupid 160 default (it's only set to that for app compatibility for the market downloads).
