id try reinstalling all the novacom stuff and follow the "How to Uninstall Android on the HP Touchpad "The Easy Way" guide here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=42505399&postcount=2

Thanks for the link James. I think I have removed everything but will double check and go through the installation guide. Has anyone tried 4.4 for the TP? Don't use the camera nor BT so providing it's fine for web browsing, should do nicely.

Might upgrade mine to KitKat at some point and try and point it to use!

Mine is dead as a dodo. Haven't used it in a while, it won't power on or charge.

I guess the battery must have died.

Nothing at all? If mine runs out of charge, it takes ages to get back and turn on.

Sometimes just holding menu and power for 20 seconds does the job.

Tried the above, tried charging for 12 hours and holding the power/menu button for a minute or 2. Think I'll have another crack at it tonight though, haven't tried in a while.
