Im going to Lincoln Uni, *Hopefully* If anyone else off here is going I shall be shocked, I dont think I have seen anyone from Lincs Here Before.... Bar Me

Nottingham University to study Politics BA. Have had my grades since last year so luckily no staying up late.

I'll be in Cavendish if any other Notts students happen to wander in here...

I'm going for exactly the same as Chris1712 on this, UWE - Computer Systems Engineering. Luckily it looks like we're about the only people in the world who applied for it so we're almost guaranteed places whatever points we get :D

Although I did drop out of history, not even do a computing project, and not turn up for one of my business studies exams... ones has to wonder, will I actually get ANYTHING tomorrow :( :( ?

Hopefully: Politics at Lancaster
In actuality: A lifetime of repeated failure

Do tell me more.

Well you already have your A-levels, so your application can be approved or rejected straight away rather than being on condition of you getting grades at A2.

Oh yeah, the course I am doing is...

Business Information Technology

**Hoping someone goes to De Montfort from in here, so I have made a friend before I have begun!**

Steve :)

Are they not one and the same, particularly if you succeed and actually become a politician on the back of the course?* :p

To repeat an old joke, politics - taken from latin, poli - meaning many and tics - parasites. Funny how close it is to the truth ;)

*nb I know that isn't the only career you can do with a degree in politics

What's your first year like? Ours seems to be mainly Globalisation, EU, Political Ideas in Revolution and Conflict.

BTW Politics is one of the biggest feeder courses for the media.
