The Unofficial Fallout 3 Thread

played this for about 3 hours now, so far seems good but............

seems like a waste of time, as in they could have made another elder scrolls and it would have been so much better even if they just used the same engine etc.

thats not saying i don't like fallout 3, i just like the elder scrolls games more.

and yeah this is hard, where's all the frikin ammo?

Totally agree with this statement, I got it today too - and I would have preferred another elder scrolls, I'm sure there's one on the way though :)

Poo, I was playing earlier and it was night-time in game and of course in true oblivion style I'm running through the wasteland and this mutant wolf jumps on me from nowhere and I swear I almost **** my pants - Oblivion used to do that to me so much, Id turn around suddenly and this huge gaping mouth with several teeth would be jumping at my face! :p
 
Well, I'll be the first to announce that the PS3 version is buggy as hell... roll on the patch.

The big one at the moment is that whenever goes on or offline, and the popup appears in the top corner, the game freezes!! :eek: Such poor QA!!

The other ones I've come across contain fairly major spoilers, so I'll leave them for the spoiler thread...

well at the start i was (cos i was playing it like halo)

but now i've started using the wots it called, freeze time select enemy parts thing which i can't remember what its called but im still using quite a bit of ammo because my char miss's half the time.

Are you using a weapon appropriate to your characters skills?
 
Go this yesterday, put a couple of hours into it and am struggling to get into it. It doesn't help that it gets dark quite swiftly after you get out of the vault.

I loved Oblivion, I guess I just need to get going on this, but I'm struggling. Already can't decide which way to go on the first big quest though (basically the first one you really get outside) - both ways seem kinda final.
