I think you are right mate, 30 or 32 gauge wire it looks like.

Kanthal will stop you from using the temp control feature will it not?

Yes need ni200 for temp control, but from what I've experienced so far, it's not worth the hastle, not like I'm getting burnt hits left right or center, so no lose really.
I'll try again when my rayon arrives and ill try a different atty, my zenith v2 may not be making good enough contact and the build on my veritas is slightly higher ohms so could be improved, I'll see.

cheers for looking it over though.

Struggling to get my Lemo to produce any sort of decent vapour or flavour, it's running the stock 1ohm build and some juice from the local B&M I bought it from. I'm guessing it's the juice (at least I hope it is), as it gives me a pretty dry throat even at only 7W on my MVP. It's a 50/50 12mg juice.

I picked up some Drakes Drakeula 12mg in the Vape Crate sale but don't have a clue what mix it is, any ideas?

Its the vanilla trifecta I think

Im running my Lemo with the 1ohm coil that came with it, clouding just as well as my Atlantis but im running it on an IPV2 V2 50w at about 16 watts.
I think 7 watts maybe too low for a 1hm coil, and on the MVP2 I think 3.3v is its minimum, it cant step down, so you wont be running at 7 watts as that would only be 2.65v?
Even if you turn the MVP up to the max 11 watts you will only be putting 3.3v into the 1ohm coil.
You need to get an more powerful mod or build a higher ohm coil, 1.5 - 2.3ohm is best on the MVP2, the closer to 2.3 you build the more of the MVP's range you will be able to use..

I don't mean to scare anyone or anything, I use a blu cig pro kit for vaping but just noticed an article on facebook...

http://organichealth.co/e-cigs-have-10x-more-cancer-causing-ingredients-than-regular-cigarettes/

"Japanese scientists announced that e-cigarettes contain 10 times the level of cancer-causing carcinogens than its counterpart in the tobacco world. At one time, e-cigarettes were touted as the answer to smoking without the complication of so many dangers.

The electronic nicotine products have increased in popularity with many believing that they are receiving a hit of nicotine without the health damage of a normal cigarette, laden with chemicals....."

I switched from smoking to vaping mainly for the health benefits as I'm sure a lot of people have, so it doens't make for good reading, unless they're barking up the wrong tree?

Thoughts on this ?

If the mvp3 cant run a 0.8 coil and thats 20w then the mvp defo cant run a 1ohm coil.

Oh it can run it, just not properly, my MVP2 fired my Plume Veil with a dual coil at .7ohm, just was not worth the effort, but not all MVP2 are equal, some users could not fire coils below 1ohm and some could fire at .5ohm...

But my point still remains, 1ohm is too low for the MVP2 to give the coil enough power to get a good vape from it.

Doesn't everything cause cancer though? I think we all know its still not good for us, but I and others certainly feel more energetic and don't cough and splutter after 30 seconds of running.

I think I'll wait till some more in depth research is done, till then

VAPE ON

I see a very vague article with little to no specifics about what exactly was tested and by whom. 'Japanese scientists' 'E-Cigarettes'?
It reads like a tobacco company sponsored article tbh, but I'll remain open minded.

The articles on it focus on the one brand they found high levels of formaldehyde and acetaldehyde in, they tested loads. They were also testing the pre-packaged e-cigs and not the likes of the juice that we all vape.

Yeah when I first got my mvp 2 ages ago I tried to fire a 0.8ohm dripper and it wouldnt fire it. IIRC its recommended not to go below 1.3

Even the anti vaping scientists have come out and said this research is rubbish. You only get the products they talk about from dry hits. This isn't anything new either, vapers have been talking about it for at least the 4 years I've been vaping. It is why I think temp control will be the next big step but it is still too new to be really useful to users but it will get there.

I've just spec'd someone up an istick and nautilus tank, they was given an e-lite type cig package and moan that it was crap. So I've gave him a hit of my egrip and almost knocked him back.

I've also offered, that if he get's the kit and don't like it. I'll buy it off him at cost price (within in a reason time; of course), you can't say fairer than that to help someone stop smoking. :) He be blowing clouds in no time.. lol

I've seen this report knocking about for a month or so, it's getting like the Winnebago cruise control story.

The Tobacco companies know they can't attack openly, they imply on their websites that their battle to protect their business is with smuggling and counterfeits. Yet I only know 3 people that smoke now, everyone else has either quit or moved onto vaping to wean them off.

Their losses must be huge and they have the ethics of a crack pusher.
