If anyone is after Japanese cotton, muji sells a big bag of unbleached 140 60x50cm pads for £2.50!!

It's looks brushed thou I've not taken it out of the packaging yet and it's slighting browner than the stuff I got which the seller is claiming to be koh gen do.

It's a hell of a lot cheaper than koh gen do from ebay, and less people have touched it but if someone who's actually tried this stuff and say real koh gen do is better, it's only £2.50 wasted.
 
The thing I don't like about muji is its quite thin. I cut a slice of KGD and its fine to thread straight through but I can't do that with the muji I bought. I buy 10 sheets of KGD for £2.50 and that lasts me months anyways

The Tobeco Kayfun V4 clone arrived this morning.

Very good quality clone, took it apart and gave it a good clean etc.

1.2 ohm micro coil fitted, wicked with cotton, using the glass tank, filled it with some Snake Oil really good flavour & some nice clouds.

The juice lock feature is great so now I can fill it from the top, once its filled and the juice lock is open the air bubbles start rising which is good to see.

No leaks or dry hits at all very impressed with this one.

Happy New Year all. Been playing around with my Origen V2. I like my Rose V2 cool vape at around 1.2 - 1.4 ohms.

With my drippers and especially the Origen I can't seem to achieve a cool vape. I aim for about 1 - 1.2ohms but there is a lot of metal in there (I use 26 or 28 gauge kanthal) 8-10 wraps on each of the 2 coils. I line up there air holes over the coils and have them open max, it's still just far too warm for me. Any solutions?
 
Glad to see you finally got your Lemo Pete.

I have had two vapemails this week.

First was the Lemo Drop and a Ohm reader from BAvapes and I received my Rose v2 clone today from fastech.

The lemo drop is great right upto about ~24 watts and then it burns. It burnt at about 20 watts with the coil and wick it came with so I recoiled at 1ohm with 28g kanthal and it is the same only it starts to give the burnt taste at around 25 watts. It is 70vg 30pg ejuice but I am sure I seen Rip reviewing it with 80vg in his.

Sitting at 19watts and its great!.

The Rose v2 clone is a lovely bit of kit. I tried to double coil it but I accidentally snapped off a a leg when twisting them both together :(

Anywho, its at 0.6ohm with 24g kanthal and I am vaping at 35watts. Its equal in taste to the Lemo. It just can't hold a candle to the Lemo for cloud production but its far, far better than the Kayfun 3.1 and lite plus clones I have for flavour and vapour imo.

I'd suggest the Aspire Nautilus mini but it only holds 0.5 ml more. Anything that holds more is going to look bad on the iStick. I really don't know what is what in pre-made coils any more so I'd wait for other to suggest things too.

Nautilus mini is the best choice for general usage, it has a slight overhang on the istick - 0.5mm or so. That's my goto setup for being out and about.

I'm thinking to get me a Kayfun v4 and Vaporshark rdna 40 for home use, not a cheap setup but looks good.

This is what it looks like with a kanger aerotank v2, like the aspire there's a slight overhang on the button side of the device but it holds 2.5ml.

You should be able to use the same atomiser heads as your protank 2.

I used the stock coil (put Jap cotton in though) too and I also found it to not like going over 24.5w max :D

Cheers, it's and expensive hobby that's for sure, I've 3 more mods on order too.
Two cloupor mini 30w and a clone vapor flask 30w as the battery life with dual 18650 batteries is fantastic but I'm not paying another £250 for the real dna40 as I'm still not 100% on temp control.

I got my evolv dna40 chip back from evolv, looks like rather than replacing the screen I broke, they have sent me a brand new 40d chip, so like the chip in the flask 2.1, it will do f and c temp modes which the hana dna40 only does f.
I decided to rebuild my hana 30 clone with the clone chip as I now plan to put the dna 40 into one of the cloupor mini enclosures when they arrive, should make a great mini mod.

It looks like you are enjoying yourself and have a wonderful collection of pieces, so I am sure the expense is justified (and hey, you aren't smoking!). :)

Kudos to Evolv for that level of service and support. Being able to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius sounds like a really nice feature too I must say.
 
Any of you fine guys and girls have any idea where I can get replacement 510 copper pin (or an alternative if its possible) for my segelei 100w v3 box? I got 5 with it but 3 are already pretty stripped now as the copper is just so weak. I would like to find a solution now before I totally run out.
 
The Sigelei 30W courtesy of CaNsA arrived this morning :)

Looks good with the Lemo Drop on it and vapes a lot better than having it on the MVP did! Anything above 7W on the MVP gave me a really bad throat, 20W on the Sigelei gives a warm vapour without making me want to cough my lungs up!
