Arrggghhhh....Oh man Im gutted. First I missed my signed for KF4 and couldnt get it for 2 days then I stripped it ready to soak in alcohol and noticed its got no insulator under the positive/negative block so its useless :(

The one that was delivered to me last Saturday was fine, vapes like a champ & a good quality clone.

Cheers all

Well it all depends on the internals of the Cloupor, not seen any pictures that show whats hidden under the internal covers, so hard to tell, but hopefully I can get under the hood so to speak and swap out the chips, will make a sweet mod, though 40w and temp control on a single battery are not great, that's from using the Hana DNA40, but have to try it anyway.

It would not surprise me if the chip inside the mini is very similar to the clone DNA30 that they used in the Cloupor Hana clones. If that is the case then hopefully it can be done.

That is bad news Gregg, I hope the issue gets resolved swiftly so you can put that bad boy through its paces. :)

The box on mine had a plastic seal on it, was yours the same?

Yep. It was sealed so it was built like that. On a plus note though hes just taken the one out of his and sent me it. Should have this bad boy working soon. Im seriously considering pulling the trigger on a genuine rose v2 for £80 as well. I think this is the year of the genuine for me

It's a funny thing and can be very hit and miss. For example, my Mutation X V2 clone is better quality with tighter tolerances than my authentic V1. Go figure... :D
Of course, missing a vital component is a slightly different thing.

Im still in need of a bit help regarding the copper 510 screw in my segelei 100w. Im down to 3 of the 5 that came with it and I really want to get a solution sorted before they all go. The copper is too damn fragile and I dont know where I can get spares from

I did have a look when you mentioned initially and could not find any anywhere, not even in China.

I would have suggested swapping for a SS grub but without knowing the coarseness of the thread and the fact it is reverse thread, I don't think that will be easy either.

Have you tried contacting Sigelei directly?

It would be worth retrofitting a spring loaded 510 from the plus version but those don't seem to be available either.

I would try contacting Sigelei and hope they are willing to send you a bag of spares for a small fee. Good luck mate. :)

Thats the thing, mine does have spares, including a little double ended screwdriver lol cant find anything about who makes it, seemingly nobody knows hehe - my box is identical to the original including the holographic sticker, full manual and exploded poster thing + spares including another spring also silver plated. Waiting for a reply to find out, but i thought id ask here as im sure this was supposed to be a moander version but they dont have spares either from what i can see.

Edit - apparently the one ive got is an iJoye version - totally new to me these are so not sure how good they are supposed to be, so theres a fair few versions out in the wild.

My Moander version came with a bag of spares, o-rings, wick, screwdriver etc.
At least it was listed as Moander lol

Ok, so I got around to whacking a couple of coils on the Plume Veil...

0.35 @40-45w on the Sig results in a smooth, hot vape. Very nice :)
For some reason, it hates being on the Nemesis and gets far too hot with a not too nice vape to the point where the heat actually spreads to the top of the battery and I don't feel safe doing it. The MX2 is perfectly fine on there and has no such issue.

How do they compare? It's roughly equivalent to the MX2 with all but the last three holes closed, though I guess it's a little better for flavour if I was pushed to call it.

It looks pretty slick on the Sig and it's happy being there, so there it stays :) The MX2 gets to play with the Nemi.

Oh, currently running with the post holes open and no probs so far, but I am using 80/20 vg/pg (Strawberry fields fwiw), so I don't know how it'll behave with thinner stuff.
It also whistles loudly (like the BD v2) if you don't close off the main holes by a fraction :D

so I seem to have acquired butter fingers lately, dropped my mech about 8 times this week, its only Wednesday -_-

Dented the mech tube, so now its really tight to screw out, bent my pin on my geyser and scratched the hell out of my shiny tube. its still chucking out the clouds though. LOVING quadcoil builds get such a smooth cool vape with so much vapour over my other dual coil builds

I was tempted to buy myself all genuine parts as a treat but now I am thinking not such a great idea.

Got a project in the making, me and my brother are building our first DNA 40 chipped box, love fiddling with vapes such a fun little hobby.

Also bought all the stuff needed to make my own E-juice it really is crazy the mark up % on these little bottles

Hey Guys

The Cloupor 30 watt mini has just arrived :)

It really is tiny, but it has a nice weighty feel to it.

Perfect for out & about vaping, stuck at work until 5.30 :( but will post some photos of it later.

It will look good with the squape nano tank fitted on it :)

Cheers all

I love the Plume Veil, great bit of kit. How have you got the delrin insulator adjusted, personally I liked open about half way. I never tried it on the Nemi to be honest so not sure what the deal is with that.

Glad you are enjoying it though. :)

Look forward to seeing the photos and hearing your thoughts on this one, very intriguing indeed! :)

Lucky guy... looking forward to your thoughts on it, I see there are a few more video reviews on YT now for it too... this is going to be one popular mod :)
