Glad you go the vaping king stuff crispy. I love them but refuse to pay the amount anymore.

Queens custard is amazing after a good steep.

Tried a few puffs at 10w then 15w seemed ok but not much vapor. Not sure if im doing it right. Took the drip and cap off and to see if it was vaping ok looking at the coil. Noticed a lot of spitting. Thats not normal is it?

I know i shouldn't have but i just tried the custard i mixed 2 days ago and it's already got more flavour and tastes better than the custards i've bought from the likes of Jax and SpectrumVaping. It's going to be really hard leaving this in the cupboard for weeks now!

I didn't even use anything special just the basic recipe for grants custard that was on here.

15% Cap Vanilla Custard
2% TPA dulche de leche
2% EM

70VG/30PG mix 3mg nic

I tried Jax's once and I thought it was disgusting and chemical tasting. Not to mention the amount of Acetoin/AP in the concentrates he uses - Diacetyl free, my arse!

What people don't realise is that you can make really nice custards with diketone free concentrates.

It was Cap v1 i used so still has that risk. I've got some v2 but haven't made anything with it yet to see if i'll like it as much but most people seem to say it doesn't taste as good.

Never liked any plain custard from the big boys.

Isle of Custard do some nice ones, the spectrum vaping ones are horrid, the GVC is horrid.

Might look at some homebrew vanilla custard ones, have a few creamy flavours at home doing nowt.

I'm gonna give it a go at the weekend I think.

Something along the lines of:
FA Custard
FA Marshmallow
FA Caramel
FA Meringue

You may think the last 3 sound odd, but used in the correct (low) percentages you can really bring out the flavour of the custard without altering the taste.

Here's a list of pretty much all the 'tasting notes' for all the FA (FlavourArt) concentrates by HIC (HeadInClouds) of Vaping Underground fame - http://mamajsflavorshop.com/headinclouds-my-notes-on-flavor-descriptions/

I didn't like Isle of Custard, there was barely any flavour even after a month of steeping.

Never liked GVC when I first tried it, but it has been my ADV for nearly 2 years.

Love the stuff, the taste changes as the bottle goes down. I've tried the Isle of Custard stuff but as ICEx21 said I think it lacks flavor!

It's odd when it comes to custard.

I love the flavour on IoC and think a good steep improves the flavour immensly.

Whereas GVC I found to be very chemical and overal not an enjoyable vape. No flavour and over hyped.

I'm glad we have so much variety though, one persons ADV is anothers "never go near" etc

If you want something small, I'd recommend the IPV D2.

75W, TC with Ti/Ni settings, and really packs a punch.

Using a velocity like yourself, twisted up .55 with .4 wire last night, 2 big fat coils at 9 wraps each over one of the blue screwdrivers, came out at .24ohms.

Whacked it upto 75w after soaking the cotton and my god the vapour production and flavour is fantastic. For a single battery mod, I'm impressed with the battery life on it too.

For something a bit bigger & dual battery, the IPV3 Li seems to be getting a lot of attention lately and will fit in your budget I believe.

I don't believe the D2 does step down in power mode though? Step down is a means to go below battery voltage. If you don't have step down and you want to vape say a coil of 0.5ohm at 15W, you can't do it since the battery voltage is around 3.7V and that yields about 27W. So even if you set your device on 15W it will still give you 27W (3.7V) since it can't go below 3.7V

I have been looking at the D2. really want to try Ti builds. My mate is selling a Smok xcube II but it looks huge and not sure on it.

Anything new out soon? Kanger is performing fine but keep reading Ti is the way forward for flavour.

What about the koopor mini? £34.99 at noble with 5% off using vape247 code

That looks really really good. Would I gain anything significant if I upped my budget to £100?
