This is my first 26650 mod, but its really light without the cell in it, so with the cell in its still not a bad weight, its much lighter than the Wismec and feels so comfy in the hand, the mod maker told me that he makes all the parts himself bar the chip and the 4 screws that hold it together, hes done an amazing job.
Im surprised theres not more about it online, ive found his facebook page and a few reddit pics from happy buyers, but thats about it, though he did say hes fairly new to the game.

Yeah i should really clear out some of my older mods, my DNA40's and koopor mini, but i can sell my DNA 40's on UKV as im not a modder and they are home made and koopor is not work the cost of postage and the Penny is a FT china mod nobody would want, then theres the Egrip which i hardly used but is old hat these days...

Tank wise, i love my Aromamizers but and baring the wicking troubles i love the flavour off the Uwell Crown, but the OBS Crius looks like it will make a great replacement for it and i see there is now a Velocity deck version which should make it easier to build so ive ordered one and my Crown will go back in its box i guess.

My relegation shelf is filling up...

Ive still got a second Wismec on order and an IPV D2, i dont even need them so may well sell on the wismec at least.

Currently enjoying some american juices i got at vapefest:

The Beard No64 in the TFV4 with the Dual coil RBA and two contact 2.5mm 317l SS coils at .2ohm
Wick Liquor Deja Voodoo in the OBS Crius with two contact 2.5mm 317l SS coils at .23ohm
Cuttwood Sugar Drizzle in the Aromamizer with two contact 2.5mm 317l SS coils at .2ohm

I can recommend all three juices, very nice and tasty.

I really need to move some of my kit on but most of it will sell for so little I find it hard to justify the time involved with listing, answering questions, posting, dealing with issues, etc. etc.

Most of iy will only sell for a few quid each so I tend to just keep them in the drawer on the off chance I might need them. Can't be bothered with the hassle for a few quid.

Im the same Rilot, the time and effort to list these things and the cost of postage (£7.25 for Special Del from N.I. to England), just not worth the bother, so it all just sits on shelves or in my Vape cupboard, such a waste, ive given away a few bits and sold a few to local friends, but its barely dented my collection...

Think I've cracked temp control! Noticed that the temperature of my vape between the Lemo 2 and the Aeronaut were different, despite the Lemo actually having less airflow I was having to raise the temperature to get a similar feel. The solution was to properly set the internal mod resistance in Escribe. I'd picked up from some forum that it was 0.03 when I first got it (Hotcig DX200), but I measured it at 0.015, and a further google suggests someone got 0.013, so I'm guessing that's roughly correct.

I've also realised that the internal resistance of the atomizer will have an effect - since the wire's resistance will change but not the atomizer itself, the linear relationship is skewed slightly. This could be modified with the temperature/resistance factor curve, but since I can't be bothered to faff around with calculations for that, I simply raised the locked ohms reading slightly in Escribe. Got out the multimeter with thermistor attachment, and the coils are good now. Both reach dead on 200C at 200C, 260C at 250C, and 320C at 300C. A bit off, but consistent. Vape hasn't changed on the aeronaut (still awesome), but has gotten much better on the Lemo, it seemed like TC had sucked the flavour out, but it just wasn't reaching much above 250C even set at 600F (315C).

On another note about TC, one thing I hadn't considered was that the wattage increases/decreases depending on how hard you inhale, and will decrease if there's not as much juice around the coil, this is the main factor in reducing dry hits, and it works a charm! Rather than starting to get the slight tinge of burnt cotton in my RDA, the flavour just goes, indicating it needs a topup. Didn't believe the TC hype, I do now! :D

Also, mixed up my own Key Lime Pie, no idea how it compares to the Element version mentioned in this thread, but I'm happy with it! Recipe if anyone has the flavours:
6% TFA Key Lime
1.5% FA Vienna Cream
1.5% FA Custard Cream
1.5% FA Cookie
1% FA Marzipan
0.5% FA Vanilla Bourbon

Crown rba is going in tonight, any wicking tips from those that had leaks? I'm going to take a wild guess and say packing cotton correctly into the Cyclops eye was the route of most issues?

I have a clone recipe for Beard 64 thats supposed to be very close to the original.

Cap Blue Rasberry Cotton Candy 10%
Cap Hibiscus 5%

I have the Hotcig and according to an email from Hotcig that a guy on the Evolv forums got, the mod res should be.005 which ive set and to be honest noticed no difference, ive swapped atties from one mod to another and with the watts set the same they all vape the same.
One thing of note, the Lemo 2 is not a great atty for TC by default, if you push out the 510 centre pin, reverse it and push it back in from the Inside of the base, it works much better.

The RBA is funny, you need enough cotton packed onto the deck to block those wick holes, but too much and the wick chokes so your coils dry out faster and in TC mod you hit your temp limit faster, so in kanthal mode that would be a dry hit... i found thick wicking rayon through the coil and cutting the tails so they just touch the deck but then trim the edges to thin the tales down a little, this way there is enough to block the wick holes but little enough to allow the juice to quickly travel to the coils. in fact i do this will all my wicks now and find i can maintain a higher temp in TC mode without throttling or losing flavour even chain vaping.

I loathe the Crown RBA deck, as UKDtweak has said, too much cotton and it's either hitting TC limit/burnt hits or not enough and it leaks like a sieve. I probably managed to get it right 1 out of 10 attempts. As the stock coils are so dam good and last as they as they do I'm quite happy to buy a pack here and there at £12 a throw.

Just ordered some more wire to play with. 317L works in TC but its temp bounces around quite a bit so I've order some 304 and 430. When I've got a few more bits to order from Stealthvape I'll grab some NiFe30 to play with aswell

Quick question. Do you find you get better flavour mouth to lung or with direct lung hits?

MTL has always made me cough. Tried the 1.5ohm coil MTL in my subtank mini and it tickled my throat, I've tried coiling all my tanks to get something I can MTL for stealth vaping and it always tickles my throat. I've got a Genesis Atty to try with some 28awg Kanthal to see if that works for me MTL

I cant really MTL, makes me cough if i take a big toot, but i think it can improve flavour a little as it spends more time in your mouth and thus over your taste buds... though i could be talking rubbish... it could be subjective.

I need some different juice. Been vaping away on Heisenberg for too long and fancy a change, but kind of the same style of fruity / menthol.

Any recommendations?

Interesting. But you guys are obviously still getting plenty of flavour with direct lung hits. I've only just started direct lung hits, I've always done MTL. When I started vaping I could always taste flavour, but I struggle every day now as my mouth and tongue is always dry, even though I drink loads of water. I think I'll continue with direct lung hits, maybe it'll help bypass my mouth and reduce the dryness.

If it's flavour you want then get Vampire Vapes Blackjack or Elements Key Lime Cookie.
Both are horrible imo but have lots of flavour.
I roughly cleaned my tank out at work and replaced the Key Lime with the Banana and nut and I can still taste the Lime.
On a side note, I mentioned earlier the Key Lime tastes like Jif, well our admin manager mopped through the office earlier and the smell was exactly the same as the e-juice....horrible.
I think I'll add it to the ever growing shelf of juices with the label - Do Not Touch.

I now only do straight to lung on 6mg or less and with the subtank mini being my weapon of choice mainly. For well over 18 months doing mouth to lung, I can't go back and I find the flavour far better STL

if you vape the same flavour every day then you could be getting vapers tongue, your taste buds start to ignore the flavour, thats why i vape at least two different flavours every day, so i dont lose the taste, you can kick start your taste buds back to life with strong flavoured mouth wash like Listerine or lemon juice, try brushing your tongue next time you do your teeth.

Try Vapours Oven Frozen Forest, one of my ADV's along with their 'man flu' :)

I can't MTL anymore, I did when I started as thats how I smoked, I end up choked if I try these days. I find I get more flavor STL anyhow as I can take bigger inhales with lots of flavor on the exhale.
