Just tested the Samsung 30Q on battery Analyser.

Came in a 18.36 so a little under the HG2, on a 2S mod

So in order of battery capacity we have

LG HG2 - 18.49WH
Samsung 30Q 18.36WH
Samsung 25R5 17.90WH
LG HE4 17.79WH

This is with cell voltage cut-off at 3.09v, having realised earlier that the manufacturers capcity ratings will be discharging down to 2.75v so I'm going to do a test on the HG2 down to 2.75v and see how close to the real 22.2WH I can get

Nice work Froz, surprised how good the 25r holds up on W/H being as they are 500mAh less than the others..
The DNA200 has a hard cut off of 2.85v so you wont be able to test down to 2.75v Froz.

Didn't know that.

2.85v will give us enough of an indication. Mooche results more or less echo mine so I know there's nothing wrong with the method

We're only pulling between 5 and 6.67 amps from batteries at 40w as well which is handy to know for interpreting Mooch and Torchys graphs. (4.3 to 5.7 amps on a the Wismec)

Just looked at Moochs graphs, the 25R holds about 2350mah down to 3v with a 10amp discharge and the HG2 holds a touch under 2700mah

My 25R had been used for a week or two so had "broken in" the HG2 and 30Q we're both put straight into a charger when I received them then tested so might give a little bit more after a weeks use

Here is the Koopor Mini with the COV Vengeance tank. Vaping it at 55w and really enjoying it. 60w is a bit hot but if you take the rubber ring out of the driptip it cools it down quite a bit.

Hope these pics work and sorry for the poor quality lol.

i had a terrible time with vaporshark when my rdna40 broke. it cost me 180 euro and only gets a 4 month warranty. it broke after 6 months.

it cost me about 80 euro to send back and be repaired all at my own expense and it took about 6 weeks to get it back, they have zero after sales care or service and i judge an expensive mod by their warranty.

their attitude was also very flippant they seemed to be quite pleased that any problems after 4 months are not their problem and they make more money from you after the 4 months. i would never use them again.

Well vapemail today, i got the 6ml Velocity deck Aromamizer today from Boldvape, must say it looks alright, and the deck is aligned with the airholes nicely too, the other 2 are kinda blanked by the posts but its good.
Not sure what build or how to wick it yet, wanna try Temp control on my DNA40, and tomorrow i get a DNA200.
So Ti 26g, Ni200 28g, NiFe30 28g is what i have, dual/single and how to wick the bugger.

On the DNA200 front, thanks to all who replied but i stuck with the Efusion DNA200, ive got a lipo balance charger from my R/C cars ill charge the battery on it inisde the lipo bag
Question for the DNA200, is there anything i need to do when i get it in the software, seen some talk of battery settings and what not, and trust you guys here more than the general internet.

on a more positive note here are my main vapes these days, left is the repaired rdna40 with a cartotank with zeus juice dimpleberry at 9 watts for a nice mouth to lung flavour, middle is the cloupour gt 80 watt with temp control fitted with the awesome uwell crown with a ni200 coil and zeus juice black astaire, right is the popular smok x cube 2 with the tfv4 and a quad coil fitted with home made dragons fear from vape domain. lovely stuff.

I have that too, on both of mine when the deck is full screwed into the base.
If you loosen it slightly to get the alignment you want, it won't cause leaks underneath (atleast not for me), and you'll get better air onto those coils. I've done this upto about a full 1/4 turn and not had an issue.

As for coils, I personally run 2 builds;

1. Kanthal (6ml)
A simple dual coil .25ohm setup using 23AWG wire, I believe it's 5 wraps each side over a 3mm drill bit.

2. Ti (for TC in the 3ml)
Twisted dual coils, 0.07ohm using 26AWG wire, this one I believe is 5/6 wraps over a 2.5mm drill bit

Should have some good vapemail in the next few days, the anticipation of owning a DNA200 device is killing me (Wismec Reuleaux), and a Snapdragon RDA (Clone), for some real flavour chasing.

Will be sticking in my first ever Ti claptons in this thing, i'm only after extreme flavour. Am at a point now where I'm not too arsed about huge clouds as a priority, but more a nice byproduct of a decent flavour build.

^^ I have started using tighter driptips again, flavor is what the whole point of this is for me!

Has any one tried chuff stuff liquid, seems reasonable and gets a few good reviews?

TommyV has covered the coils so ill cover the DNA200 and Lipo...

The Efusion is a Sealed box, you cant simply take the lipo out to charge it on your hobby charger, you will need to carefully peel off the carbon wrap on the correct side to reveal the 2x securing screws that hold the side plate on, remove those to remove the side panel and gain access to your lipo.

As for settings, firstly download the Latest version of Escribe from this link:
https://www.dimensionengineering.com/software/SetupES_2015-10-21.exe

Connect it to escribe and it will load the current settings from the mod and offer an firmware update, accept it and once done reconnect and go to the Mod tab and click on the Watt/Hour Calculator, for the mAh enter 1300 and then leave the Nominal Voltage at 11.1 and ok it, this will set up your W/H reading to match the Lipo and give you a decent battery meter accuracy.

Better still, here is a link to the Officially released settings file for the Efusion:

If you aren't too fussed about varying nicotine levels, and want max VG, the cheap, and still simple, way to do it IMO would be to buy a bottle of Darkstar nicotine (£16.99 for 250ml 72mg/ml), and a big bottle of lubrisolve VG (£16.99 for 5 litres). Then empty 250ml of the VG out into the bottle you'll have left over after this month, and pour the nicotine into the 5l jug, give a real good shake, and you'll have 5 litres of 3.6mg for £34. Seems like a lot but you can just buy and forget about it for a couple of years then. Just shake, and refill your 250ml bottle with the VG/nic mix when it gets empty - this is much easier than trying to take a little bit out of the big jug, and it stops you opening the jug up loads of times so the nic in the jug won't oxidize as much. I personally don't do this because I'm mixing for friends too, so need to have seperate nic and base, as well as varying PG/VG ratios.

Then the only cost is your concentrates. I've only tried two brands, TFA and FA - FA is definitely cheaper, since the 1.5x cost is offset by the fact that most flavours are 3x as potent and FA's site offers six 10ml concentrates for the price of five, however I have found they require a little longer to steep, TFA is definitely easier to work with. Naturally if you find a flavour you love, you can bulk buy concentrates too to really bring your costs down.

One thing I will say is don't be put off if your mixes don't taste great at first, if you're mixing max VG, in my experience *all* juices need a good steep to develop. I mix up 50ml bottles, but I have about 5 mixes on the go, this means I'm not slamming each one before it has a chance to develop, and I avoid getting too sick of a flavour. Currently have a black forest gateaux, banana choc, lychee milk and honey, banana cookie, and blueberry apple pie with cinnamon+custard.

Hmmm, you have me intrigued. I've been vaping for a few months now and liquids are costing me a small fortune (about £60 a month, roughly) so I've been thinking of having a go at mixing my own.

I understand the above to get your nic/VG mix, but what I'm not sure of is how much flavour concentrate needs to be mixed with it. So, lets say I'm going to mix a 30ml bottle, how do I know how much falvour concentrate to mix it with?

Can anyone who has done this explain it to me, or point me in the right direction as I've read a few sites and am still not 100% sure. I'm going to order the VG and nicotine today I think then will just need to choose some flavours, once I know how much I need!

Many thanks:)

Recommended amounts vary depending on the flavour that you're using. Supplier's websites will usually tell you somewhere around 5%-15% of total volume.

Easiest way to do it is just to install the free Planet of the Vapes calculator app on your phone and use that. Works great.

Thanks for the swift reply. Ok, so in theory if the website said 10%, for example, and I'm mixing a 30ml bottle, am I right in thinking it will be 27ml of the vg/nic mix and 3ml of the flavour ? Is it really that simple?

I'll download that calc and have a play, cheers :)

Pretty much. The base flavour suspension (PG or VG) will factor in, but you basically just pop in what you want the final mixture to be in terms of volume, strength and flavour percentage, and you get a result saying so many mls of base, so many of nic, and so many of flavour.

Pop 'em in a bottle, shake it up, leave it to sit and Bob's your uncle.

Cool, thanks all. Seems straightforward enough. Only one way to find out though so will put an order in, pick some flavours and give it a whirl

I can fully recommend FlavourArt (FA) concentrates. They have them pretty much ALL spot on!

Here's a good article detailing them all with tasting notes etc - http://mamajsflavorshop.com/headinclouds-my-notes-on-flavor-descriptions/

Some of us on here (myself included) have been DIY'ing for a fair while now so if you want any recipe recommendations, give me a shout! :)
