Don't chuck it man! Give it a vape, I'm sure it'll be fine.

Heh, I will, although my mouth and throat is not sensing much flavour today, I think I better stuff myself with water.

I'm going to build some new coils now and try it on those.

Different bottles are different, those style FA bottles are normally about 0.02g per drop

Ah, interesting. Well I think I did about 15/16 drops by the time the scales said 0.28 so that's about right then? I know I shouldn't be worrying about drops as I'm dealing with weights, but I couldn't help worry I'd overdone it when I looked at the supposed drop amount on the calculator :p

HIC's Sore Throat Helper

1% FA Licorice
1% FA Anise
1% FA Peppermint

Shake and vape.

;)

Made myself some apple pie and some lemon meringue pie juices today. Really impressed with them, as good as any juices I have ever bought off the shelf. So glad I decided to make my own, so much cheaper and a lot of fun messing about with flavours.

Thanks to everyone who gave advice, I'm loving it :)

Also making a few quid selling to mates now who have given great feedback. Did some freebies at first but they're all coming back for more. Doing it cheap for them all but still covering costs. Awesome!

Merlin since you are now the resident magician with all your potions, do you have any recipes for tobacco menthol like those Sterling Fresh touch cigarettes?

Nice. Those will be next on my list to buy. Sounds like it might be similar to Snake Oil which I like. :) It's not a sore throat though. I keep getting a bitter taste in my mouth and I think it's PG sitting at the back of my mouth and in my throat. I notice I'm clearing my throat a lot and then a horrible bitter taste invades my mouth and tongue which takes ages to go and really overpowers flavour. That and a certain amount of dehydration. This often happens after only a few inhales. I'm glad that with DIY, I can experiment with different ratios. Also, this will be my first time going from 6 to 3mg nic, which may or may not make much difference.

Hah, I see what you did there. :D No man, I'm a noob, I've only made one complicated recipe so far courtesy of Gee,... Apple. :p You could try some of these

Been hammering away on the RX200, not a single issue on any of my tanks, builds or wiretypes. Checked the cell voltage drop (not in the manual so to share how to: switch device off, then hold power+up+down together and after around 10 seconds it'll list the voltage of each cell) and it's now at 3.91 a cell, a whole evening chuffing away and used 0.3v on each cell.

I'm totally happy with it.

How likely is it that an order from Fasttech or Gearbest will come before Christmas? I'm not sure if its not better to order from the UK?

FT you might be alright, providing the item is in stock.

GB have a European warehouse now (based in London) so depending on whether the item is in stock at said warehouse, you'll probably be good too!

I feel like I finally "get" the whole vaping thing - after spending two months on a 20w Curve starter kit and vaping mainly PG based juices I was a bit non plussed with it all. I've now got the 50w Subtank Mini, moved to sub-ohm and I'm starting to mix it up with higher VG content.

My god I've been doing it wrong for so long, absolutely love the richer flavours I'm getting, and it doesnt seem anywhere near as rough on the throat.

Already eyeing up my next purchases now.

This is exactly why we all never suggest people start with cheap gear. It gives a bad impression of vaping. Much better to spend some money and do it right from the start.

Glad you're enjoying it.

Mixed up a new Strawberry Shortcake recipe this morning.

Nice as a shake and vape, think it needs a steeep to let the biscuit flavours come through fully, more like a strawberry milkshake with a hint of biscuit at the moment

FA Strawberry takes about 2-3 days for it to fully develop from my experience.

CAP Sweet Strawberry would be a nice alternative too!

How's everyone doing, not checked in in a while, works busy and I have been enjoying my set ups. Welcome to all the new comers to :D

However the bug has come one again...

Looking for a new RTA. I have the Crown and the Aramomizer. Do enjoy them but I am looking for something similar draw wise to the UTA now, so away from sub ohm? Tight end of the spectrum.

Also my IPV D2 is serving me well, however I feel I might need to up the power a bit. The RX200 has caught my eye but the size is putting me off slightly?

Also anyone had experience with the X-Cube 2?

Hi

Spent a bit of time reading this thread and I am looking for recommendations.

The missus smokes around 10 menthols a day and is looking to get into straight forward "vaping".

Would you guys recommend a kit like a Kangar Subox mini or Nano or something completely different? Would you have any recommendations for liquid?

Thanks

John

The RX is a tad smaller than it looks in videos, it's about the size as a Pistol grip and so much nicer/more secure to hold that the X-Cube 2 (a pals got one). For a triple battery device the RX is very compact.

RX200 40x50x85mm
Xcube2 24.5x60x100mm

I'm not a fan of the Kbox mini (subox battery device), it's cheap but not that much more so than the VTC mini which is currently £35 from joyetech (20% off this month or using code NY2016 next month for 25% off). The VTC is a far better device with some of the latest features like stainless steel temp control.

Cheaper still would be to get the VTC from fasttech for about £25 but it'll be 2-3 week wait, perhaps more at this time of year. Whatever, DON'T use Swedish post, I had stuff sent about 8-10 days before other consignments and they are all here while that parcels still sat idle in Sweden :(

I'll let others advise on a tank, I tend to go for open airflow rebuild-able tanks so I'm not up to date with other styles.

Juice, if she likes a nice extra cool menthol mint then Mystic Juice Ice Mint would be one for the list.

Just for the record my VTC Mini took 5 days to arrive using China Post from FT.
