Glad you like it... Without going into the whole mech vs clones debate, I've never seen a clone squape but wonder how it works as the authentic has parts made from anti-conductive material...

Tbh most so called "high end" users only have three of each sort of item they use, then they have low/middle market stuff like the rest. :)

The Squape purchase has really adjusted my stance on clones vs genuine products. This thing just oozes quality.

If I'm being very picky then I have only two complaint's. The adjustable centre pin is a bit of a pain in the ass, but seems to stable now and its difficult to see how much juice is actually left

I wouldn't say the squape is perfect for me.. it's just highly customizable, so it's easy to recommend it.

My top 3 of this year... IMHO..
RTA:
1. Toot
2. Spheroid v4 (dub the mini toot)
3. VG Mini/Nano (I keep meaning to pick one up)

RDA:
1. Velocity
2. Hobo v3/v3.1 (so out of fashion.. but people are waking up to it.)
3. Haze mini

Mods:
1. P4U IPV D2..
2. Wismec Reuleaux dna200 (need to pick one up at some point.)
3. SX Mini M/ML class.

Yeah the bottom pin is a "design".. if your getting random ohms.. it's either the pin and the screw threads on the tank needs cleaning.. or the mod's spring loaded 510 needs cleaning. I've spoken to the mod maker over it and the pin is meant to be loose enough to adjust with finger nail.

I'm not a fan of the tank window design, but I got a Chris Mum's bell cap to resolve that issue... lol

I'd been thinking about at bell caps, resistance seems to be stable since I wound the pin out another half a turn.

I think I'm going to buy another base and AFC ring as I've got the R tank section and a W deck

The Squape looks amazing going to get my self another present next payday so have a month to decide on next bit of kit.

I have just sent emails to my local MEP etc using this site, to tell them my vaping story and ask their stance on the TPD, can i please ask each of you to do something similar, the TPD has the potential to ruin vaping not only for us but for future new vapers, current smokers that could avoid the dirty habbit and start a cleaner healthier life with vaping to help them quit.

Just type in your post code and it will give you links to the people you can email, i then wrote out and email in notepad and copied if to the groups one by one.

To the mods, this is Not a personal request, this is for the benefit of all current vapers and the smokers that could make the change to a healthier life style, if this breaks the rules please delete and accept my apologies.

Just re built my Smok TFV4 with the dual coil RBA deck, two 317L SS 25awg cols coming in around .26ohms, spaced, wicked with Grahams Cellucotton and juice is Time Bomb: Maniac, running it on my Hydrogen Mods SX350J at 200C and 50 Joules, its a lovely rich creamy thick 60/40 VG/PG juice, full of flavour and good clouds, i think ive found another great juice to add to my growing collection of new tastes.
Its a very warm flavourful vape, very desert like, recommended...

Still rocking my velocity and loving it, although now my sigelei 100w is showing its age now that I've moved onto heavy Clapton coils. Could really do with temp control to ramp up the volts when it's cold.

Well there are plenty of choices, Koopor 200w, Snow Wolf, Sigelei Fuchai, IPV 3 LI/VR, SX350J or DNA200 to name a few, personally i would not touch the china chipped mods bar the IPV maybe, the SX350J and DNA200 are king in this department, but mods cost a lot more.

Between the SX350J and DNA200, ill take the DNA for its more versatile and has features that help you really tune in your vape.

I've been wondering about using the RBA deck in my TFV4. Currently got the quad coil unit in with Muffin Man and loving it. Would quite like to give the RBA a go, maybe put Milk Man in it.

The single coil RBA is a bit of a pain to get the wicking right as the juice holes are so massive and deep, get the Dual RBA, it is far easier to get the wicking right and give much better flavour as the size of the tank does not suit single coil unless you go twisted or clapton etc... it looses flavour on the single coil deck.

Sweet, thanks for the heads up. Only got the single coil deck for mine so will invest in a dual coil deck if I decide to change it up. Currently rebuilding my Doge v2. The dual coil 19 gauge wasn't getting the airflow it needed.

I'm currently using the TFV4 single coil RBA which is the prebuilt one at 0.8 ohms with some cotton labo (god it's SO much easier pulling this stuff through coils than cotton wool balls and pleats) and don't find a problem with it wicking, I'm vaping around 27 to 30w, with VG/PG 70/30. However, today I accidentally had it set at 50w, the maximum of my mod, so 0.8 ohms/50w/6.3v, took a lung hit and it burnt the **** out of my throat, I couldn't get water down me fast enough. I guess it was a dry hit or something. Perhaps that's what you mean by not wicking properly?

I couldn't comment on flavour as I struggle getting all the notes of a juice at the best of times. I'm sure you're right that the dual coil is better for that.
Personally, I'm not sure I noticed any difference in flavour between the T3 triple coil at 50w and this RBA single coil.

Yeah thats what i mean, at higher watts if there is not the right amount of wick it will dry hit and if not enough cotton it will leak, the flavour on that tank is muted unless you have higher power, hence why their coils can take so much power, the dual RBA is Much better for flavour and easy to wick Every time :)

Ah, I thought that maybe the cotton to one side of my coil was a bit thin when I wicked it, but I've had no leaking at all. I wicked mine using an idea from a youtube video, by screwing the chimney down over the coil and wick which makes a crease where the cotton sticks out. Take the chimney off and cut where the crease is made and it's just the right length meeting the start of the juice holes. Guess I better invest in the dual RBA. Think I'll wick the subtank mini tonight, haven't used it for a while. What's your opinion on the single coil of the subtank mini compared to the TFV4, for flavour? Also, do you have any suggestions to stop spitting juice into my throat using my Tobeco Velocity RDA clone? I've stopped using it because of that. I wish it had some anti spitback protection.

The subtank mini RBA is fantastic for flavour, i recommend a twisted coil though to get more power into it for a nice warmer vape, i used dual twisted TI, 26awg x2, twisted tight together then wrapped on a 2.5mm rod and 4 wraps, came out about .2ohms and eats about 35-40w easy enough in TC mode.

Spitting tends to be down to wicking, too much or too little, sometimes turning up the power can overcome it, but it probably a good idea to get more wick in the coils, only time ive had spit back on my Aromamizer Velocity style deck was when there was very little juice left in the tank thanks to running in TC mode.

I got the authentic velocity running 0.4 ohm in a dual clapton setup.. just pull as much cotton has possible.. you don't need to have much cotton on the deck.

It's worth testing how good the clone is by closing down the air flow completely then sucking on it, don't fire it.. it should basically feel like it is.. closed off... I've tested a few 1:1 clones and I can still get a full airly pull when it's shut off..

Just been offered a 2nd Velocity.. :)

Would not mind a genuine Velocity myself, was looking at clones but would prefer the real thing.

As my Single coil OBS Crius build was a success i decided to try Verticals:
