Balky... the Svapiamo VTC Mini Squonker is a great mod, you get both a 16.5 and a 22.5 juice cup that you can easily change in 30 seconds, the juice bottle is only 6ml, but for a day in work thats enough juice for me running a Dual SS coil at 0.25ohms and 50w with TC limit set to 195C.
The VTC Board is good, with the V2.0 Firmware it came with, it worked in TC mode with the 317L SS coils straight away, but with the V3.0 that takes 20 secs to install, it now shows SS 316 but still works great and now has M1, M2 and M3 settings for three different Custom TCR values you can set and save, the screen layout changes slightly with the V3 FM, but i think for the better as the ohms and amps on the previous FM display were tiny, now the Ohms is bigger and easier to read and the amps can be changed to puff or time spent which is nice.
In all id buy this again, the fit and finish is good, no rattles and the door fits very snug with very strong magnets.. to be honest, my only nit pick would be getting the battery out, it could do with a ribbon, otherwise i love it, small, light and plenty of power with TC support for multiple wires and custom TCR... get one... you wont regret it.

basically get a squonker.

damn you and your awesome reviews.

Glad you are enjoying it! Might have to add that into my basket also...

One last question, this time wire.

I love titanium it's great to work with and flavour is great. However resistance is low, so I struggle with dual coil builds. My aromamizer is being neglected due to it being a pain to fit a dual coil titanium build in there.

Stainless steel however, higher resistance? Also what is the difference between SS136 and SS316L?

SS is higher resistance, i usually do twsited 26awg TI, about 4/5 spaced wraps, dual coils and get about 0.9ohms, using 25awg 317L SS single wire/dual coils around 6/8 wraps i get between .2 and .3ohms, so yes you can build higher resistance using SS, plus you can use it in power mode as well as TC which can come in handy if your mod decides not want to work in TC mode all of a sudden, which im sure we've all seen..

SS136??
316L - 317L.. its purity i think, 317L is the least corrosive of the two and as i understand it, would be safer.

I just put the VTC mini and an OBS Crius in my basket at Gearbest...
What wire should I get?
I currently have Kanthal 24g and 26g but thought about getting some S/S or ? for TC.

Go for 316L or 317L SS, that way you can run in TC or power mode on the VTC Mini... i think you have chosen a good setup with those two, the board in the mini seams really good and the Crius is a great tank.

They seem to be being sold as an RDA.

Just another SV Hype Train then?

Cosmetics over functionality.. My kfl+ pimp'd is about the same size and holds more juice, the fact that it can only be vaped at low wattages means that I don't have to refill so much.

What wire diameter and should I be looking at claptons etc or just a wire and I can then twist it if required.

I prefer 25awg 317L, i have 26 and 30awg, 30 is too thin and easy to break, 26 is only .05 thinner than 25 and will give you slightly higher ohms, i have tried twisting SS wire but not yet been able to get it to work in TC, only single wire and to be honest, i get as good if not better a vape from my single wire 25awg SS coils than i do from my twisted 26awg TI coils.. so depending on how high you want to go in ohms, 25-28awg 317L... my personal preference is the 25awg.

The Crius deck is not that roomy, i could only just fit twisted 26awg TI coils in it and that was damn tight.. so would not worry about claptons and to be fair the tank gives great flavour on SS coils from single wire, i personally think Spaced SS coils in TC mode rock in this tank, i can hit 50w and not hit TC limit and still get a warm vap with big clouds and flavour :)

One more thing if you don't mind.
Ordered the mod/atty and a coilmaster.
What battery do I need - I know there are various available - flat top, button top, samsung 25R or LG HE4 or?
Where's good for batteries? Torchy

If its is for your VTC Mini, then a flat top 18650, either Samsung 25r or the newer 30Q will do nicely, or you can go LG HE4.

I get all my cells from Torchy, spot on prices, trustworthy seller and next day delivery :)

My Uwell Crown turned up and a very very good quality tank. Not really got a decent taste yet but it will need a good tankful to get going I guess.

Sweet tank though and using the .25Ohm coil for now.

If that's a DNA40 MOD Greg, you may need a fair whack more then 40w to get the crown to shine, I had those stock coils up over 70w iirc.

The black looks good on the flask, i gave my crown away to a m8, got fed up of the leaking using the RBA, but the .5 coil heads were great i must say... just did not last long at 60w plus...

Yer it is Paul and the taste is just starting to come through quite nicely now at 30W, so will keep at this till I refill and up to 40W to see if it improves. Not going to buy another Mod in truth and if no good, it can sit next to the many many other redundant tanks I have :D

My pic doesn't do it any favours but yer it does look really good on the flask.
