Sooooooooo I've been vaping with my Subvod since Christmas and as much as I love it, I think it's time for an upgrade. Ideally I wouldn't mind dropping about £50-60 on both tank and mod but I don't have a clue where to start.

The COV Mini volt has caught my eye and I've noticed pop up on this thread a few times, any recommendations on a decent tank to go with it? The capacity of the top tank nano is a little bit of an issue like so I wouldn't mind something a touch bigger!

Eternally grateful for any recommendations, insults, hate or jokes you want to throw my way.

I just got an aspire cleito, just to see what it was like really. I really like it. I've been using it instead of my rebuildables (I like ease of use). its 3.5ml I think, could be bigger but its really easy to fill and is overall short for what it is

I have a mini volt too as it happens. it's great but the battery is not changeable and doesnt last long. it has its purposes though, but you might want something that takes 18650 batteries. ipv v2 is nice, and a good size for a 18650 mod

Sound, I'll add them to them to my "Research list"

What you say that the battery life doesn't last long, how long are we talking? I only really vape a little bit through the week and on nights out so it's not like I'll have it in my hand all the time!

hard to say how long really. it lasts me a day through work, would be OK for a night out for me. it lasts a bit longer at lower wattages, obviously, so higher ohm tanks would be better. The cleito however comes with 0.2 or 0.4ohm coils. I use 0.4. The minivolt and cleito together are quite dinky compared to most things, a good combo IMO. both dont hold much (juice/charge) but it should be enough.

you can use the minivolt while it is charging, but two of them would be better. or something bigger for at home at some point, like a ipv d2 or the one mentioned on the last page. also the mini volt powers off after a short while so I find myself having to press the button 5 time thing a lot

I didn't think the minivolt supported passthrough! I saw the 'battery charging' notification which persists whilst it's plugged in and assumed it didn't. Thanks for educating me :D

I picked up My Minivolt earlier to use while I repaired my DNA200 after I broke that. Minivolt is dead and it's had about 24 hours use in total

DNA200 took me all of a couple of minutes so Minivolt has been resided to the crap pile

Damn, 24h to kill a mod, what happened to it, is it not powering on on not firing?
The only problem ive had with mine so far is the paint coming off the two screws on the top panel.

Got the Crius OBS V3 built and running, great flavour and decent clouds, i think for ease of use its going to be my daily at least until i get my bigger Mod. the Aromiser blows serious clouds but taking it apart to fill and the minor leakage was making it a pain at work.
What other tanks will do vertical dual coils im using clapton at the moment so need a fair bit of space to work in??

For small and prebuilt coils the Pico with a CLR kit might be an idea if you can stomach the price and find one for sale.

That's a SV head speaking... lol

so Minivolt has been resided to the crap pile

I told everyone they was crap after 30 mins of having one.. there is a known issue with them that if you plug them in the charger when the screen has just gone into standby they freeze. God knows how to actually fix the issue, not looked into it.. someone told me if you leave it for 30mins-1 hour they pop back to life... but plug them in when either they are on or power it off before charging.

For prebuilt coils:
Try the Wismec Amor, Praxis Spitfire House of Hybrids' 510 Kabuki Tank for a modern mtl tank
Aspire Nautilus, Aspire mini Nautilus... Beyond Vape Silo (not beast) for older models of tanks....

:)

The Pico is genuinely the only tank I could think of that's a comparable size to the Goblin Mini

I'm not fussed about the mini volt, I've got an 18350 mech which is much nicer to use and far more convenient as far as batteries are concerned

Think I've found my favourite liquids. Both Snap Liquids Apple & Peach Ice Tea are nice and fruity and subtly sweet. Apple with a bit of menthol is the perfect mix :)

didn't think size was a factor.. but the armor and splitfire are short tanks anyhow.. :)

Going to treat my self to a new RTA sooner rather then later, Aromamizer needs re-wicked every day to keep up to scratch and my Crius needs a new deck, current one appears to be leaking down the 510.

I will get another deck for the Crius, but I have my eye on 3 other RTA's...

Indulgence Mutank: £23.99, velocity deck option, getting good reviews

VapeGeek Griffin: Same as above

VCMT: £51 for the 30mm version, will need to find a bigger mod to suit it, looks the absolute dogs danglies, currently like hens teeth, even VCMT don't have stock, 25mm version is impossible to find in stock.

Thoughts?

I've just checked mine for you dude, make sure you're not putting in the spaces. First the top 8 green digits then the bottom 4 digits.

I wouldn't bother too much if it doesn't authenticate - no doubt it WILL be genuine.
Thanks, my code was 4 x 4 digit codes in different colours
Top left - blue
Top right - black
Bottom left - green
Bottom right - black.
All under the Qr code thingy.
Tried again earlier with no luck.
The thing works so assume it's OK.

If you like the Crius then a Griffin will suit you, slightly more deck space to fit bigger coils and claptons...
There is also a new Sigelei tank called the Moonshot, slightly bigger than the Goblin Mini but only holds about 2mls of juice, but can handle big coils and high power from the few reveiws i have seen so far... odd deck though, fiddly to build.

Anyone able to recommend a decent place to get eliquid from in the UK ? I've been buying the same RY4 from cloud9/crème de vape for years now but want to try something new and well and truly behind on where is good etc....
So to you people that still buy premade rather than homebrew - where is reputable and good? :)

I picked up a few from Rejuiced.eu recently, due to their pretty unbeatable prices. Good stuff! Nice and thick, so obviously the 70vg they say it is (I've seen hit and miss consistencies with cheaper suppliers in that regard) and the "Big Mama's Milk" is awesome -- perfect strawberry milkshake.

If you want a steamcrave type vape but don't want to build it every day... get the origen tank. yeah it's £100 pounds but it's one of the few tanks I'm using at the moment.. one of the only two I use on a daily bases.

It's a pig to build, but once you get the hang of it; it's consistent.. a build in mine last weeks, dual vertical coils with airflow direct to the coils.. if you can be bothered a mesh build will last months.

There's a reason why people have multiples of this atty.. one guy I know has over 10 of them, and I'm going to get a second one as I've just spent so much in pimp parts. lol
