Coiled up my Big Buddha v2 last night with 4 x 6 wrap coils at 3mm, 24 guage kanthal. Think it comes in at about 0.18 ohms and chucks both cloud and flavour (as expected). Nice vape for at home, but a bit hefty for out and about.

Good luck , and welcome to the cheap side of life!

I think I am 20 weeks into non smoking now.
I used to smoke a pack of golden virginia per week @ £9 per pack + filters/papers etc...call it a £10 per week.
so 20 weeks = £200

so far in that 20 weeks I have bought:
istick ~ £35
Nautilus Mini + 10 coils ~ £35
eVic VTC mini ~ £25
Subtank Mini ~ £18
Crius V3 ~ £16
Wire/Wick ~ £10
Ejuice ~ £250 (conservative estimate)
Batteries ~ £14
Battery Charger ~ £15

ALL IN FOR 20 WEEKS = ~£420

Just Bought the following and should last for a year...
DIY Juice inc PG, VG, nicotine, and flavourings ~ £120

Providing I buy no more gear it will work out as £540/72 weeks = £7.50 per week.

I have spent nothing compared to some on here.:p

Vaping has been anything But cost saving for me, but thats my own fault for going beyond a starter kit, shinyitus and the search for the perfect mod/atty combo is too much lol

Heck.. £420 in 20 weeks... i spent £405 in a few minutes and that was only on ONE mod :P
But its all about what you get out of it, healthier, dont stink of stale smoke and a hobby all in one.

When I started adding up I thought it was going to end up more expensive for me so the comment about cost saving/ putting a price on health was kinda my point.
Every time I buy something I explain to the missus that I don't care if I spend 10x more on vaping as long as I'm not smoking.

Added bonus is that I now usually smell like a cake shop..seriously, lots of people have commented.

Only consider the COV Mini Volt as a backup unless you vape at very low (sub20) watts, its nice looking and all, even too small if you have big mitts... but battery life verses recharge time is never going to be good.

I've only got a Kangertech Subvod at the moment. Worried that I'll get a taste for the higher watts and want to go higher as soon as I get it (mini that is)

Any other ones you reckon I should take a look at that are around the same price but offer a bit more in the watt department?

VTC Mini, yes its twice the height Nearly than the COV Mini Volt, but its a single 18650 that you can easily replace out and about and does 75w and TC, you can get it on FT for £25 delivered.. cheaper than most places sell the COV Mini Volt :)

SKU: 3821102

Or for £26: the Cuboid, 150w, dual 18650.

SKU: 4036102

Cheers man, I was looking at the aspire cleito tank to go with the mini volt...would it be a safe choice to go with either of those?

EDIT: Also, any recommendation on batteries from FT?

The Aspire will work just fine on both mods, both use the standard 510 connection.
Battery wise... if you order them from FT, they will take Ages, like weeks to get here, for all your saving, order from Torchy.

However, if you can wait a few weeks and put them in a separate order then Samsung 30Q:

SKU 2363300 = 4 pack

Or the LG HG2: currently sold out...

SKU: 2535100 = 2 pack

Cheers Chief! I'll get it ordered :)

EDIT: Won't let me paypal for the tank, best off just getting from over here by the looks

Yeah i forgot, paypal put a block against FT selling their Apsire labelled gear ages ago :(

Haha, fair enough, any other tanks worth looking at on FT that will go nicely with it or am I safe just sticking with getting the clieto from over here for the sake of a few more quid?

15 days for my recent battery order (4x25R5) from Fasttech ;)

You can pay by card man, no issues to report here.

There was a falling out between Aspire and Fast tech

I've seen it mentioned about ordering something of similar value, cancelling and getting a gift card as a refund then using that
