***The Vapers Lounge*** 3.0

alien 220 is a bit ugly, but whatever :D I would chose a Istick pico over that,
TFV8 baby is good.
nitecore or xtar charger
batteries - bit of a minefield here, but torchy on the ebay is always good

Are all the items on your order in stock/ships next day? You may have one item holding it up.

Thanks, I couldnt remember my password but got in now. looks like its not in stock. Pretty sure it was when I placed the order it was but maybe there were more orders placed that took up the stock during CNY

States to be shipped on the 11th :(

OK so looking on a few sites I think I've found something I'd like to get:

1 x Alien 220 Mod
1 x TFV8 Baby Tank
1 x V8 Baby-Q2 Core (0.4 Ohms dual coils) (Pre-installed)
1 x V8 Baby-T8 Core (0.15 Ohms octuple coils)
1 x USB Cable
1 x Replacement Glass Tube
1 x Instruction Manual
4x 3000mah 18650 batteries

So is that a good set up for a beginner? I don't want anything fancy just something I can start vaping with quickly.

So all I need to find now is a decent 2 bay battery charger to get with it.

Don't get a two bay charger. No doubt you'll pick up more batteries in the future and I can guarantee you, you'll wish you had the extra slots.

Nitecore's have slow charging rates. Xtar VC2/VC4 for example are good, but they use a USB to Barrel Plug cable and you need at least a 2.4A wall charger to get the most out of it. Said cables aren't a normal size so you'll struggle to get a replacement if it fails (mine did after about 2 weeks fwiw).

Get an Opus BT-C3100 - http://ecoluxshopdirect.co.uk/brand...one-li-ion-ni-mh-ni-cd-lifepo4-batteries.html Mains powered, does all types of battery, has a cooling fan to exhaust the hot air (FYI battery degradation is mostly due to batteries reaching too high a temperature whilst charging) and it can also refresh the 'memory' on certain battery chemistrys - NiMH iirc.

TL;DR - Don't skimp on a charger. Just like you wouldn't on a PSU. Get something good that'll last.

You might want to get some spare coil packs, but that seems solid enough. Xtar chargers are decent, i'd suggest the 4 bay, you dont need that now but itll allow you to switch to a triple batt mod later if you so desire (speaking from experience)

Juice wise i'd suggest take a look at jackamoo and pick what takes your fancy for flavour (only found twister and lemon creme oreo to be bad so far), nicotine wise 6-12 for starting, 18 might be a bit harsh for that tank.
Get a few small bottles and if its too strong no big loss.

I wouldn't go over 6mg with that tank. Even as a smoker looking to switch.

What are you actually looking for? Personally, I would start with a mouth-to-lung setup such as an eGo One from Joyetech. This will replicate the action and feel of smoking. Going straight for a big-clouds lung-hitter as a first step doesn't sit right with me.

Havn't used a lipo, whats the life like on that compared to say a pair of 2500mah 18650's?

The only other Lipo mod ive ever used was the Efusion DNA200 that had the same 1300mah battery, this seams to last a smidge longer but more importantly, it charges twice as fast due to the 2amp usb charger as opposed to the DNA200's 1amp.
As for comparing to 2x 2500mah 18560's... i am running my DNA200 dual 18650 mod, with 2x 25r (2500Mah) cells and the same pre heat/power as im running on the DNA250.. 90/70w, the DNA250 lasts longer, cant say by how much, but i definitely get longer between charges than on the 18650's.
The Build on the DNA250 is .23ohms and on the DNA200 its .39ohms, both running the same watts etc, but obviously the DNA250 will need more amps for the lower build, yet is longer lasting.

My thinking also. One of my favourite MTL (mouth to lung) set-ups is an Eleaf iStick Pico with an old school Aspire Nautilus (or Nautilus Mini) tank (not the Nautilus X which is hopeless for MTL - despite numerous claims to the contrary).

Exact same kit I'm now thinking of getting.

I'm looking @ prices online & they seem to be considerably cheaper than my local vape shop

I'm a big fan of the Mini, but also get on very well with the X - About the only fault with it I could find was that it gets a little hot if you chain vape it...

Fasttech had a holiday till the 2nd feb, anything ordered between the 25th jan and the 2nd of feb would not ship till the 3rd feb.
I put in an order around the 24th and got shipping notice on the 4th.

Yep I put in 4 orders over that week, 2 were shipped sat and the other 2 were shipped yesterday. Got emails linking to pics of each order, only thing I can't track them at the moment. It just says unknown so probably haven't updated their systems yet.

What price are you seeing? I'm seeing £112.93. If you have found it cheaper elsewhere though that would be good :). From vapestore btw.

That kit ie setup would be cheaper from fasttech in China. But that depends on if you can wait a week or so before it arrives.

Also be aware this tanks and their coils aren't cheap, plus they drink juice like it's going out of fashion ie even at 50watts it will drink juice.

I'll be honest, I'm spending the same amount that I was smoking on juices. Only way you will save money is by building your own coils or getting premade ones. Also if u make your own juices that will save u a lot of money but for you guys that's a bit advanced. Same with building your own coils.

Have a look at DNA Vapes, much cheaper.

Also as others have said, look at a Mouth To Lung setup, rather than a direct to lung sub ohm setup.

Unless, of course, you are used to inhaling directly into your lungs.

Right, I think I'm ready to consider a tank atty.

Recommendations please! Criteria as follows:

Easy to build in (no fiddling to get it right/stop leaks or flooding)
Doesn't leak
Cheap and cheerful

Troll RTA by Wotofo ~£25 on Fasttech or M-Vapes.co.uk if you don't want to wait.

Wicks like an absolute champ. Not a single leak when it's been rattling around in my pocket. Super easy to build.

Hi guys, need a little help please, I have a limitless RDTA + and built my first coils on it a 2 coils x with 7 winds each claptons and reads 0.53ohms and are both 3mm internal diameter and I wicked them with cotton bacon.

The juices I tried is a 70vg/30pg and I also tried a 50/50 too.

The problem is as I fire the button the coils heat up and make a horrible popping of the juice that burns if it comes out of the air holes or the mouthpiece (spitback). I tried lower wattage from 20-30w and was ok around 27.5w but the vape is cold and tasteless ( I enjoy a warmer vape) but at anything higher than 30+ watts it does its loud popping and throws hot juice.. Any advice please before I rebuild the coil and rewick it ? The wicking is working great and not had one dry hit and maybe working a bit too well but the deck is not covered in juice so is using it as it rewicks and doesn't look like its flooding the coils.

Any advice will be appreciated before I go crazy and i'm really fed up with the aspire cleito 120 standard coils as they seem to work for 3 days sometimes or last ages, the coil goes bad and gets the famous vacuum problem and I have to keep opening the top to let it bubble or it dry hits, the coils are rated from 100-120w but they say they can easily do 160w too... but i'm vaping at 80w as it gets too hot and too much vaper for me.. I would like the same experience with the RDTA without the never ending coil changing at £4 a pop every 3 days...

Thanks.
