And what do you want your finished bottle to be? Ratio and Nic content?

Even if you wanted to make say 100ml 70VG/30PG @ 3mg. You'd need to take away 17ml of PG.

I think you should've got a higher strength base mate. Or you know, do what I've been recommending in here for ages. Get your Nic, PG and VG separately! :p

Ratio 60/40 and nic content as low as possible, I'm trying to go nic free but not ready to take the total plunge yet.

Yeah I know I should be doing full DIY juices but after 8 months odd of having premixed I needed something easy which a pre-mixed VPG is.

I've been on the Darkstar invite only FB group for ages just never got around to going full DIY. I should start now esp as TDP is coming.

That's the problem with pre-built coils, you're always going to get duds.

To be honest, I've never had a dud Cleito coil in the time I've had it - must just be lucky :D This latest pack were all duds though, must be dodgy.

At some point I'll need to learn to make my own coils and liquid :o

Or just buy pre made coils;). I get a pack of 10 clapton premade coils for my tanks and it doesn't cost me more than a tenner. You got 10 coils and they easily last a month for me. Mind you they are sub ohm coils so depends if you sub ohm or not.

Or better still buy a roll of clapton pre made wire and wrap your own coils.

Haha these are pre-made coils :D Pack of 5 costs about £15 which usually last me about 6-8 weeks which isn't too bad.

I'm gonna learn to make my own I think, it doesn't look that difficult, just fiddly - definitely worth a go

In that case then, your VPG base will work as long as your end product Nic content is around 1.5mg. Anything higher than 2mg won't work, unless you have a stronger VPG base.

Ahhh ok, that's expensive buddy. I picked up 20 clapton coils on Amazon last month for about £10. Coils sit at about 0.45ohm so a dual coil setup gives me .20 ohm in my tank.

That's not bad at all. So are these coils premade and ready to go into your rebuildable?

yeah, you just have to wick them, as opposed to all the wrapping/twisting business that normally goes into making your own coils.

if you want to get into your own coils then a coil master kit is highly reccommended, add a bench vice some fishing swivels and a battery drill and you can make pretty much any coil for "practical" use (ie not counting the fancy weave stuff that's mainly for show)

Yep just put them on my deck, clip the ends off and wick them.

I have a coil master v4 coiling jig as I have some kanthal wire on a spool so make my own coils for my kayfun tank but I usually run that at about 1.5 ohms. The tank won't do sub ohm builds as the juice channels are too small. Lowest build I've had in it is around 1ohms and it struggled to wick properly ie too many dry hits etc.

Trying to get hold of some pre made clapton wire so I can wrap my own coils but can't seem to find any good quality ones. So have stuck to pre made coils for time being till I can get my hands on some clapton wire.

Troll RTA ordered from FT!

Think that will be my next tank lol. You guys are making me spend too much money lol.

I've got an ijoy combo rdta, cleito120 tank already and a serpent mini tank coming from FT soon.

I've also got a geekvape tsunami24 rda and another rda, troll v2 rda coming from ft as well.

Amazing tank.

It looks fantastic meanwhile If I find a UK seller with them in Stock at a decent price I'll try pick one up as FT won't be shipping for a week (and the rest) also happy to wait but I imagine 2 will come in handy anyway.

Vapenology claim to have stock at £25.99, never used them before so might be worth a look at reviews first.

But yeah, fantastic tank, plan to order a second with my next FT order.

I looked there but seems new company (2017) and I don't like the fact using PayPal will come with a surcharge.. "Company" is rather local to me and the post code on google maps just turns out to be a house. So that made me give them a miss perhaps im being overly caucious but still rather avoid any uncessaery hassle if things were to go south.

Looking for thoughts on another MTL tank with good capacity, I was thinking of getting a Triton 2 with 1.8 coils as I've used the coil in my iJust 2 tank and quite liked it

I've used Nautilus X but didnt like it, Mini but want top fill and larger capicity, Pro Tank 4 which was rubbish. T22 which are fine when you get a good coil but for the most part they seem poor, eleaf GS air M which is my favourite but coils are getting hard to find and the tanks fall apart after a bit

Probably a few more but was wondering if I missed anything? Has to be MTL, large capacity 3ml plus and premade coils, any thoughts?

Thanks

Better safe then sorry, potv/ukv is usually a good resource for a company's legitimacy too.

Premade mtl market is a bit slim, have a stab at building? You could then move to something like a kayfun mini v3, bung some 26/28awg coils in, happy days. In that scenario a £5 spool of wire would last you an eternity while cotton costs pennies, and will far outperform anything premade.

Yeah I've seen it mentioned a few times, coil building just add another layer of complexity to something I want to be easy and convenient though, also its very expensive but I suppose I'll make that back over time without having to buy coils

I'll need to read into it a bit more before committing to one, thanks
