Does anyone know how I can RMA the Smok Alien?
The retailer is not being helpful, they have simply instructed me to contact Smok. Not really had any replies from Smok yet

I think I've broken my Smok Alien as well. Only owned it for a week and it is refusing to work correctly. That is the second vaping device that has failed to work for me. I'm getting a tad annoyed (I was going to use a stronger word but decided against it) now. I'll take it back to the shop I bought it from tomorrow.

Was it a UK based retailer? Could try quoting the part of the soga about electronic devices being covered by the seller for 1 year?
Failing that you're screwed, bin it and move on, don't touch smok again. Smok will not help you, i can assure you of that.

Hence why I've decided to move to more premium devices. The Therion I have is miles ahead in terms of build quality.
May cost a little more but I don't need devices failing on me @ this juncture on my path to quitting cigs

Well had 2 days with the tfv 12, flavour is very good, gone to this from a Clieto aspire.
Never built my own coils so can't comment on whether it is better or not but so far I'm happy with it.

The TFV12 does have great flavour. But I found that it does not last more than a couple of days & you can't leave the tank empty once you've run juice through it. Gets really bad when you fill the tank up again.

Right so finally managed to coil and wick my troll rta. What a tank!!! So much flavour and awesome little cloud chucker. Flavour for days, it's as good as my serpent mini...actually couldn't choose between the 2 as that's how good they both are.
Have a dual coil twisted pair in the troll, the ones that come with the troll. Running at .27ohm and damn this tank vapes good.
My only issue with this tank is the shoddy phillips screws, they are terrible. Don't know why wotofo decided to go with them rather than hex grub screws. Managed to strip 2 of them so replaced all 4 screws with some spare hex grub screws that I had from my serpent mini and troll rda. Fit perfectly fine as well.
Other than that, I highly recommend this tank for dual coil lovers. Such an awesome tank, full of flavours and a cloud chucker to boot.

I've got 2 Troll RTAs.
One of them always leaks a little when I fill it up.
No idea what I could be doing wrong.
The other one has been fine from the first wick.

No leaking from mine so far, might be a case of replacing the o-rings?? See if that helps??
Oh one thing I will say about the troll rta is that even a 2 yr old can wick this, it really is that easy. Compared to the serpent mini which can be a bit fiddly to wick at times.

Mine seeps ever so slightly, but not enough to cause concern. Only issue I've had with proper leaking is down to how I've wicked it.
Maybe take it apart and double check the o-rings.
Thanks for the tip man! I think I've stripped two of mine as well. I agree completely though, phillips screws and that screwdriver are *****.
No probs mate, the provided screws with the troll rta don't even clamp properly. When I coiled it I was getting shorting at the posts so I tried tightening them more and that's when I stripped them. So tried a couple of hex grub screws from my serpent mini and they fit albeit a bit short lengthwise.
I was looking around the net last night and some guy on another e cig forum posted a link to some grub screws that FT sell that are a perfect fit for the troll rta.
I'll have a hunt for the link, probably buy a pack of 10 as spares are always handy. Think it's only a couple of dollars if that.

Hello i decided to go diy and purchased some nicotine from darkstar and red astaire from t juice, ive made it at 6mg nicotine and 20% flavor 50pg 50vg also from darkstar 50ml and it tastes really harsh any ideas?
