It's leaking ever so slightly from the air holes (only on one side as well). Reason it's bugging me is the silver tank is leaking. Looks really nice with my mod. Oh well, I guess I'll try changing the rings etc.

After having a few issues with my vape setup, things are finally looking much better. (Broke glass twice on my silver Troll RTA, Alien mod gave up the ghost etc)

I popped into the local vape shop where I got my Therion from to buy some juice. Really nice guys, let me sample a tonn load of flavours, really helpful, I then mentioned the leak on the tank, they themselves were stumped. Wicking etc all perfect according to them.

Anyway, the guy said he had a ex display Wotofo tank that will no longer carried by them. Has been used & that I could have it for free considering I've bought x amount of flavour and the mod the day before. They even put a build in for me & chucked in a handful of custom coils.

Result for you mate, if only my local vape shop were that nice lol.

Should hopefully have my silver serpent mini 25mm with me on Monday.

Be helpful to know what tank/setup you're using? 20% seems like too much considering they recommend 15%.

Are you mixing by weight or volume? What mixing calculator did you use?
 
Nice one, Yas. So where did you finally get your silver serpent 25? I've been lazy and not read the thread for a couple of pages.

I'm still going to be buying another RTA, haven't decided which one yet. Meanwhile I decided to have another go with my white subtank mini that I disliked. At the moment it's vaping like a dream. I washed it out, rewicked it and put some Red Astaire in it. I think my wicking must be better this time, it's not spitting or anything. Ohms seem to be stable. The build in there is 0.9 ohms. What sort of wattage would you say is ideal? I've got it on just 18w/4v/0.9 ohms. Seems ok.
Is that kinda low wattage for those ohms?

using naturevape pro tank mlt at around 6-8 watts

i used steam-engine.org mixing by volume, i read lots of people use 20% flavor so thats what i went with, its deffo a nic taste rather than the flavor being odd or too strong

Nicotine base (PG) 4.17 ml
Flavor 1 (PG) 10.00 ml
VG 24.85 ml
PG 10.98 ml
Sum 50.00 ml
 
Got my Troll V2 today, stuck 2 juggernauts on there, flavour is AWESOME, but cant seem to get much cloud from it... Gonna charge the mod and see if that makes a difference...

Managed to pick one up from a French site that ship to Uk.

It was a little more expensive than what I wanted to pay for it as my black one was much cheaper but it was from FT and they no longer carry them in stock.

Another tank worth getting is the troll rta, wicked mine this morning and honestly it's just a dream to wick. Much easier than the serpent mini and flavour wise they are about the same. Only thing is the troll rta is a dual coil whereas the serpent is one coil although they give you a dual coil deck as well. The troll only comes with a dual coil deck but as I said it's a piece of cake to coil and wick.

What's the last part, also from Darkstar?

How do you know it's the Nic? Nicotine doesn't taste of anything. If it's a bad batch of Nic or it's off it'll taste peppery.

Have you tried making some flavourless liquid? Just PG/VG/Nic at 6mg to see if it's still harsh? I still think 20% is too much flavouring imo.
 
Thanks, Yas. Well as I would get the black Serpent 25, it's only £27 from noblevaping which is a lot cheaper than that french site. But I understand that for the silver there's no other options.

I think guys that I'm going to still go for the Smok AL85 and take my chances. Reason being that I can't find anything else that ticks so many boxes for me. I'll order it from FT. Maybe even order the Pharaoh as well.

I rebuilt the subtank mini just now with 6 wraps of 26 gauge SS 317L @ 3mm diameter coming out at 0.6 ohms and vaping it at 25w. I just put my DIY Red Astaire in. Haven't steeped it yet but since I have almost permanent vapers tongue at least I can taste the fresh menthol bit. That red colour sure looks pretty! :D

20% of red Astaire with a 50/50 combo is probably a bit too much, i used 20% mixed at 78/22 and it was quite over powering, but that's how I tend to like my juices :p The extra pg carrying that flavour could well be overpowering/harsh. Try mix at 15%
 
Hey there vaping folk.

Has anyone bought a 60ml bottle of Dinner Lady - lemon Tart from Vapeclub recently?

Reason for asking is that the last bottle I bought a couple of weeks ago was totally covered in shrink wrapped protection. Took me a while to open it and I had to resort to using a scalpel. Very tightly sealed.

Yet today I received a new 60ml bottle from the same vendor and it had a flimsy loose fitting bit of plastic wrapping around the top that opened up without really trying that hard. Very loose. Juice smells the same and it vapes OK but I was just wondering. Has anyone bought any of this recently? Was it completely sealed?

Be interested to hear from someone.
 
Well already refilled the troll rta 3 times today:eek:

Geezus it's a juice guzzler lol. Only vaping at 60watts as well. My other dual coil tank, ijoy combo rdta doesn't drink juice this fast. But the troll wicks so efficiently that you don't even notice till u get a dry hit lol.

Expensive juice especially if you are using the troll rta. The way it just goes through juice is astounding lol. Mind you I have about 4 bottles of monsta vape sweet and sour as that's my main juice.

Really need to start mixing my own juice especially if I'm using the troll rta. Just need Gee to post up his diy mixing guide.
