Noiiiiiiice! Let us know how it is!

I'd go with a dual 18650 battery mod personally. Lipo batteries aren't the best...

What's your budget?

Thinking no more than £100 for the lot (tank+mod+batteries+charger etc) so whatever fits within that, looks like the crown 3 is about £26

Hmmmm, OK.

So you're down to £76 with the crown.

A good set of batteries (25r's for instance) will only set you back £10-15 and you can get a decent charger for less then £20.

Let's say you have £40 left. Can get a good, dependable mod for that. RX200s is your best best imo. Great dual battery mod with the capability of taking 3 further down the line should you decide 2 isn't lasting long enough. You can get them at most brick and mortars now too!

EDIT: I meant Realaux RX2/3 :P

Decided on a Crown 3 tank to upgrade from my Pockex, still undecided on mod though - any suggestions? unsure whether to go for something with replaceable batteries or not.

Well...
You should ALWAYS go for something with removable batteries.
I'd say always, if you're subohming.
Reason being, SubOhm uses a lot more power and being tied to USB charging facilities is a pain...

However, I have three mods with internal batteries, all of which have far outlasted sets of reputable 18650s and all of which have been in daily use for a good couple of years now...
Admitedly two of them are for MTL tanks (3rd is dedicated to my RDAs) and are small enough (Curve 2 size) to be used mainly while driving these days, where I also have USB charging available but never had to use yet. But still... good internal-battery mods do last, especially for MTLers!

I wouldn't bother with an RX200. 510 pins are crap as they are on any Joyetech manufactured mod. Don't expect it to last either especially if your tanks pin protrudes even the slightest amount.

Smoant Battlestar or Smoant Charon 218. Both available on Fasttech for about £30 including delivery.

Regardless if you're sub-ohming or not, a device with removable batteries will be a lot better than anything that has a built in battery. If you're tied to USB charging facilities (at work etc.) take an extra set of batteries with you.

Was meant to RX2/3, but I'm and idiot. As far as I'm aware the 510 issue was fixed.

Go to your local Brick and Toast. You'll get to know them and they can help you face to face with understanding everything (providing they're not uneducated buffoons).

That's my point - I'd only need charge the internal one every 3-4 days, and the Mrs's one maybe once a fortnight.
My little MTLs are only, what, 2400mAh, but they still last days under appropriate use and even the smallest will last me more than 24hrs use.

As is, I already carry seven spare 18650s, partly because I typically have at least two devices on me and partly because I can go through them all in one day. Those still take a fair amount of time to charge up using an external charger, you know...

I don't understand this view TBH. I have 3 x VTC Mini, 2 x VTC Basic, an RX200, an RX200S, a Realeux DNA200, and a Cuboid. All are still going strong and the VTCs are 2 years old and in daily use. I use some tanks with long pins too such as the Siren.

Any recommendations on a RDTA guys?

looking @ the Limitless Classic RDTA, are these any good (really wanted a green one, but sadly the classic does not come in green)

I have one, they are ok but I don't really use mine anymore. Due to the fact that it leaks like a mofo and the part where the top screws down onto the glass tank, is a bit fiddly. Sometimes it screws on nice and tight but majority of the time, it doesn't screw on properly and that's what causes majority of the leaks.

Like I said it's not a bad tank but it's not one that I keep in my rotation of tanks.

It actually works better as an rda but I had to buy the rda bottom separately as it does not come with it.

Same here. I have an RX200 and use it regularly with my Limitless RDTA plus and the pin on that sticks out a mile. Never had any bother with it at all.

iJoy EXO RTA is on sunday deals tomorrow on FT, 15% off iirc, time to finally give in and get one. Should get my spool of 26*2x38 fused clapton wire from wireandstuff monday too :D

It's about time we saw some actual "Fused Clapton" wire on a spool. Gone for a spool of the 26x2/38g Kanthal but if it's any good I will stock up on the Nichrome option when stock is available. May even allow me to retire the drill and swivels :D

It should be decent, the majority of wireandstuff spools are very good quality.

Got 9 wraps of their 26/32 316L over a 3.5mm bit (dual) 0.21ohms, in my mad dog at the moment, 120w, lovely stuff.

E: Exo RTA ordered, also threw in 3 packs of the recently listed demon killer fused claptons, 26*2/38 316L coils, £2 for a pack of 6, was rude not to :D

Been having a few issues with the iStick Pico I bought my girlfriend a few months ago, and after trying my Aspire Zelos - she much prefers that.

Because they share the 510 thread - I can simply buy a Aspire Nautilus 2 tank/atmoiser and plonk it on her Pico with no issues?

anyone know of somewhere selling the crown 3?

Ecigwarehouse has them in stock as well as a few other sites, though I've not had much experience with the others. Put my order in yesterday so hopefully should be here tomorrow :)

Just got an email from European Vaping Supplies saying they have it stock too. I'd go there to grab it if you're interested.
