owch man, sucks, funny of all the rta's the only one i've ever had good enough luck with to use as a daily is the tfv8 with the rba deck. and as much as there's hate for the rx mods out there touch wood mine's still going like a champ.

I feel your pain pgi. The last few days I just cannot get either of my serpent mini's to wick properly. Within a few puffs, I'm getting burnt cotton. Think today I've re wicked them about a million times each and still can't get it right. Burned through enough cotton, good thing I picked up 5 packs of the cotton bacon from FT a few mths back.
Now I've just stuck with my troll rda till I can figure out what the hell is going on with my serpent mini's. Even my ijoy combo rdta and pharoah rta are giving me issues. Not sure if it's a bad batch of cotton or the coils. The coils seem to be fine, 6 coils all at .35ohms with a 3mm ID. Dry burnt them on my coilmaster ohm meter/tester.

Ouch bud! Could you have some dodgy batteries causing your mods to trip?
My eleaf pico has been used everyday since release from low watts to the max 75w with a fair few tanks and drippers. Tempted to get the pico dual for the bigger coil builds.
Have to say the Smok Spiral tank with the rba is easier to build and use than the serpent mini and better flavour so far, even the pre made coils are decent! Impressed for my first Smok tank!!
Hope you find a mod and tank that don't break or leak on you.
Nah cells are fine, 5 month old VTC6's, although while frustrated and yanking one from the 150 TC I managed to wreck the wrap right around the positive, so this day just keeps on giving 
This year:
Hugo Boxer 160: Fire button fell off
Praxis Banshee: Wont read anything
Evic Primo: garbage 510, now auto-fires
Sigelei 150 TC: readings are off, battery door just falls off
Honorable mention: Movkin disguiser, unit works, reads off by about 0.04, squonk unit failed inside a week (bad insulator).
I now have the troll RTA sat on my tesla invader 3 (must be over a year old now) at 4.4v, and it just works, unlike almost everything else i've tried today.
See if I can struggle on until the battlestar mod + RTA combo is readily available as I have my eye on both.
If I have an issue with the ammit dual when it arrives i'm going to end up back smoking. Its ****** that after 2.5 years the thing threatening to drive me back to stinkies is **** poor QC.

hey, as long as you've got at least one "ol reliable" setup its all fine!
funny, all this talk of mods dying is making me realise it'll be fun if the rx decides to pack in any time soon, although i have my backup stealth/tfv4 mini combo which would tide me over i guess.

Yeah see if that does the trick.
Pretty much moved across to mechs/squonkers due to poor lifespan quality of mods.
I grabbed the Asmodus v2 (solid so far) earlier in the year and 2 pico squeeze ( which I love with a hadaly on each)
My tube mechs sport various rda and just work solidly.
I think I've been spoilt by regulated devices. Mechs are great and all, but I can never get a satisfying hit off of one. I see people throwing REALLY low builds in them and I just think, that cannot possibly be safe. On the rare occasions I break my petri out I'll NEVER go below .25 for fear of stressing the battery too hard. What with a lot of manufacturers flat out LYING about the discharge rates of there batteries and multiple tests stating that even the more respectable brands are in fact overvaluing the amperage rate, I just don't see unregulated as a viable option for me.

Here's something that just occurred to me. If B2C sales of nic above 18mg are banned from the end of May and B2B sales are still allowed, what's to stop me just buying the nic through my company? I have a dormant company registered with companies house......
