I think that's what he meant actually, my mistake!

Which coils would you suggest to go with it? Before the restrictions, I will probably buy it, try the coils in the pack and then go from there.

Are we allowed to post deals that are happening online?

I've only ever really used the RTA deck.

I did use T8 coils, gave me great flavour. But didn't last more than a day. The Q2 lasted longer. But then again not by much. It could have just been the juice I put through it.

I think the multitude of RTA tanks I have may have spoilt me.

Got a bit of a problem. I bought some coils for my Smok Alien with a Baby Beast tank. They are the V8 Baby Q 0.4 Ohms. I've set the Ohms to 0.4 but it doesn't pull well when I take a drag from it. Only a little bit comes out and it feels difficult to take a drag from it. I have no idea what the problem is with these? These should be the same coils as came with the set and I got them from Fast Tech. Can anyone offer any help at all? I really need to get this working soon. Vaping has been nothing but trouble for me. I've obviously not very good at this.

Thanks for any help :).

when you say you set the ohms, are you running standard kanthal coils in temp control mode?

is there anything in the way of bubbling, or incorrect setting of air flow?

it's quite possible this is smok's terrible coil qc rearing its ugly head, they have a tendancy to pack far too much cotton in.

To be sure, make sure the mod is in wattage mode, fire it; remove the tank with the mod still switched on, fire it; at this point it should say "no coil". Then re-attach the tank, fire it and let it re-asses the coil ohms. I've had issues before where if you switch the coil while the mod is off it doesn't pick up the new ohms values properly.

Something else to try is to fire it for a second without vaping it and watch the screen for errors. They're easy to miss if you've got the screen under your chin ;)

Thank you both for your replies :).

Turns out the problem is I'm a retard :). The air hole was closed and I just had to open it up. Sorry for being stupid. I'm very new to all of this and don't think things through properly.

If you're buying from ft then don't worry about tpd limitations and give your self a broader selection :)
I'm not so much particularly fussed about the tpd regs as such, I'm just thinking of downgrading to a smaller tank running a bit less power and using less juice, so thought why go down to a cleito when eventually coils will become difficult to get when I could get a tpd approved tank that I'll always get coils and things for.

I'm looking for the best sub ohmer tank to run 50-80w (usually around the 65-70w mark) and wondering if a smaller tank than say my cleito 120 at 80w will be more eco friendly on the juice.

they'll likely still do coils for existing tanks, although you're still running the gauntlet of standard obscelecence.

if you really want longevity in a tank then a quality rta is what your after.

Vaporized currently selling the TFV8 at £16.99 so grab one while you still can. I got one last week.

Just picked up a TFV12 for £15 from DNA Vapes, wasn't going to bother but at that price thats a damn good spare.

Need to find a decent RTA now, anybody seen any decent offers around?

Got back from 4 weeks away yesterday and most of my FT stuff was waiting for me.
Front left: UD Skywalker RDA. Front right: Desire Mad Dog RDA. Centre: Indulgence Mutation X V5 XL RDA. Back left: Advken Ziggs RDA. Back right: Vgod Pro Drip RDA.
Looking forward to getting some builds in these later (once the hangover has worn off). I've been meaning to build up a decent collection of 24mm RDAs for a while so took advantage of FT's Easter promotion.

The mad dogs a cracking dripper, tip for it, build at least 3.5mm ID coils and leave the airflow wide open!

Would like to hear your thoughts on the Skywalker too!
