***The Vapers Lounge*** 3.0

Hope you enjoy the tank, it's not a big tank though and don't fill it to the brim or it'll flood, I usually fill it to the screw cap join visible through the window.

I'm a little bit concerned about getting the tank because I'm worried about lack of flavour but everything I have read and seen on YouTube says it is great so I'll trust everyone. Hopefully it'll keep me going until my new kit arrives and then I can keep it as a spare in case anything happens to my main kit.

Always been really good for me, usually if I order in the morning I get same day dispatch.

I've only used their CS to ask when stocks due in, they replied within a few days.

Thanks for the info:)

More annoyed my plans are up in the air, been dragging my heals over dipping my toes into mixing but just my luck this time probably.

It's the DPD notification that threw me, they have the goods, but not due until Monday, never had that from DPD before, everywhere Iv'e used with DPD it's been 9/10 next day or the following at the latest.

On a more positive CS note, bought a Coil Master mini K-bag, once it arrived, it had a light shoe print on it, so I mailed CM, and told them about it with am ~'I'm simply informing you not moaning at you', about 5 mins later they asked for a pic of the K-bag, were full of apologies and asked for my address, came back from holiday and a new K-bag was sitting waiting for me, super impressed with their CS.

Oh it's tasty, well tasty, probably why it's my go to vape, only problem is the flavour drops off and I tend to swap out the coils before I need to for the intense flavour but I am well greedy with it and the coils are very cheap now.

I'm going into town tomorrow. I think I'll pop into my local vape shop and see if they have it in stock. Just checked out their website though and they are a bit more expensive but having said that if it means giving up the smokes then an £7 is worth it.

good luck man, i started vaping on the original nautilis on the advice here.

my last feg was in january- bought a 10 deck of lambert and butler to tide me through the days airsofting, i got halfway through the first one before chucking it and the rest of the pack in the bin and deciding 8 hours cold turkey was the better option.

it won't be cheap if you go down the cloud chasing road (at least not without making your own juice), but tbh even though i spent about a grand more on vaping over the past 2 years i consider it money well spent.

Just went into town and bought a Nautilus 2 which I'm happy with. Bought some coils to go along with it just as a safety net if my new Serpent SMM has any troubles in the future. So I'll have 3 tanks and 2 mods when everything arrives. I'll set up the Nautilus 2 in a couple of hours. The only problem is that I had to get 1.6 Ohm coils because the 0.7 coils were sold out.

One thing that does concern me though is that the bloke in the shop said you shouldn't vape high VG liquid in the Nautilus 2 which is problem because just about all of my liquid is 70 VG or 80 VG. I mean I could order more online but I was wondering if it really was such a big problem? I have loads of 80 VG liquid from Vape Mail which I'd like to use.

Edit: When cleaning out a tank when changing coils is it safe to just wash it out with water then make sure it is dry and put in a fresh coil?

Thanks for all the help everyone :).

the issue with heavier liquids is they don't wick so fast.

tbh it really depends on the specific liquid (as aqueous vg is runnier than pure vg), where you are in the world (warmer=runnier, i often need to run thinner juice in winter etc.

personally i'd say the best way to find out is just to vape it and see, if you start getting dry hits then you know your juice needs to be a bit thinner.

Cool. Thanks. Do you know anywhere that sells high PG liquid? I've done some Googling but can't really find any current shops that offer an option to only show high PG liquid. I might as well get some high PG liquid so I can choose what I need in the future depending on the situation.

Sorry for all the stupid newbie questions but I'm slowly learning about things. I think I've figured out how to make my own coils now for the Serpent SMM RTA for when it arrives which is cool. Just need to find some liquid sellers where I can get all my liquids from in the future before I start getting into DIY liquids.

the sort of 2 common "standards" tend to be either 50/50 (which works in most tanks, and should work fine in the nautilus) and 70/30 (although some might be 60/40)

jackamoo juice is my go-to in the uk, although they mainly do 70/30, nova vapes are also decent. they have a limited range but they allow you to pick whatever pg/vg ratio you want.

I would have thought the majority of coils these days will handle 70/30 easily, likely hit issues going to 80 or 90+.

As said, try it and see how you get on :)

DripHacks CS sucks, long story short, after eventually replying with a short abrupt Facebook message, then over e-mail, they apologised first, then after not accommodating delivering on a Sat(never even asked for a free bump up to Sat delivery), went on a rant that they are great at CS and it's my fault for not reading the terms and conditions.

What started as a mucked up order, probably ends up with not buying anything off them, but never say never.

Those 1.6 coils only need 14W btw, if you use above that they'll burn out quick.

My prep for the coils are 2 drops of juice straight into the cotton holes, let it absorb, move onto the next hole, repeat, then add the coil to the tank, put the juice in, leave it sitting in the juice for about 10 mins, then a few unpowered puffs to make sure youv'e drawn up the juice, then fire away and enjoy.

I only ever use Swamp Thang by Ruthless in my Nautalis 2, it's 85% VG/15% PG, used Grape Drank at 90/10 in a N1, but it'll slowly clog up over time but the vape is still strong, as above try it and see.

It depends on how thick the actual juice is, even used BFB jam(super thick and sweet)-it's 90/10 too but a lot thicker than the Grape Drank on one and it still works.

Well I bought the Nautilus 2 and I've tried it with 50 VG liquid, 70 VG liquid and 80 VG liquid and I can't taste anything. I'm thinking that now that two tanks have the same problem it is me that has the problem. My taste buds are probably knackered from all the smoking. I have about 3 packs of fags of left and it'll probably take a few weeks for them to recover. I cancelled my FT order until I things calm down a little bit. Read a bit about it and people talk about vapers tongue. Just have to stop smoking for a while.

On another point 50 VG liquid is just way too harsh for me. I'll stick to 70 VG and 80 VG in the future.

Ive had the same problems, i started with a nautilus x and thought it gave a horrible taste even though it was highly reccomended at the time, i still cant taste many liquids, cant even taste red astare any more it was my favourite to begin with.

Been like this for about 6 months now, best setup I found for flavour and not having to change coils every two mins is the original cleito with these liquids Scream, Coconut crunch and Blue slush from Jackamoo juice.

The cleito isnt MTL but after trying lots of other tanks and not having any luck i thought id give it a try i didnt want to because i didn't want to be a cloud monster lol, but i now prefer it over mtl to be fair and after months of dual vaping (ciggs and Vape) im now on my 4th day of vape only.

I also found as i cant taste anything properly if i have more than 3mg of nicotine that it completely kills the juice and all i can taste is the nicotine.

Everyones different but maybe this will help

Any one have experience with the Serpent mini 25?

Every time you add juice, it dumps a load out the bottom, regardless whether it's opened or closed, on both single or dual coil build, any fixes?

You've got to give the coil a chance for the flavour to come through, it isn't a taste explosion from the off by any means each time I change the coil and it can be pretty dull, it's about a refill later (as stated earlier) as I only half fill the N2, then the flavour bursts through.

When I quit the smoking, I generally sat with about 3 different tanks/mods constantly swapping between them as the flavour disappeared after a few puffs to keep the flavours coming, in the space of what it would take to have a smoke.

Also think through personal experience, vaping doesn't work until the last piece of tobacco is totally finished-gone, then the vaping flavours/experience kicks in, the tobacco addiction is the problem, I was cracking up fighting with myself about giving in and getting another pack of baccy(25+ years of rollies with cardboard roach) until after the 3rd day off the baccy, then that addiction dropped of and the vaping really took off.

Single or dual coil deck in the serpent 25 Tommy? If its dumping on a fill its usually an indication that you have an issue with wicking - serpents are usually the trickier tanks to nail wicking on, I tend to sit cotton on top of the well holes rather then shoved in it, making sure nothing is overhanging the airflow too.

Also fluff up your cotton ends, but I've got both the black and silver serpent mini's and doesn't matter how I wick it, it always ends up spilling juice all over.

I've just got used to it doing that, so I just fill it up then blow into it, wipe off any excess juice and away I go.

Doesn't matter single or dual, I saw vaping with Vic vid and he said not to stuff in the cotton too, so I put in less cotton last night but it still dumped juice out, airflow is definitely clear and only half filled it last night so I could check for refill leaks today, tried just topping it up and it dumped out again.

Always thin out n fluff cotton too.

Must still be putting just a wee bit too much cotton in still, so I'll try again tonight.:)

As I'd still class myself a beginner, how does your serpent rate for flavour with your other tanks pg?

Got a stainless steel Serpent Rdta and it's got much greater flavour but the tanks 2ml and I've got to change the wick a lot as the sweet juice kills the wick, thankfully discovered brushing coils is a god send as they brush up like new after I brush off the gunk.

Also got the bb beast but think it's way overrated and hardly ever use it, Spiral is great flavour but the coils are a disgrace and various Nautilus tanks.

Think the buying vape gear is a bigger addiction than the smoking was tbh.

Serpent mini 25 in dual coil mode, with a couple of simple 5-6 wrap 26/32 claptons in it are right at the very top of the flavor pile, rate it very very highly - a shame the 25 is now EOL :(

One tank that go's under the radar which tops the serpent 25 IMO is the Sapor 24 RTA, top air so zero leaks, decks a bit on the wee side but I manage, flavor is outstanding.

Absolutely despise my Serpent RDTA :p

Hi guys. After a recipe for making a coca cola flavour juice. Preferably with an ice tone. Anyone help? If anyone knows, please post ingredients and instructions. Thanks!

Had to ask didn't I?

Looked up FT and that Sapor's about a tenner...
