***The Vapers Lounge*** 3.0

You have to rake out the cotton tails heaps with the Tri coil deck, have the tails just poking out of the chamber too. Found 2.5mm coils kinder for wicking with 3 coils.

Also make sure everything is nice and tight, you may have a hot leg from a poor connection, the provided grub screws on the Tri deck are absolute garbage.

Tried 3 times, i can't be bothered now. I need to get my vape on.
will give it a go in the morning

I was just wondering though how long a coil lasts if you build it yourself? Should I be looking to change the coil once a week or should I do more or less often? Also how often do you need to rewick the coil?

Coils last as long as they last basically. I've been using the same coil in my Ammit for more than two weeks and it's still going strong. Re-wicking depends largely on juice; I've had juice which gunked cotton up so that I had to re-wick every day. On my current juice, I can get away with 3-4 days. When you re-wick, heat the coils (with the cotton removed) until they glow to burn off any crud on them (I give mine a brush with an old toothbrush once they've cooled down a bit to remove any residue), that should increase the life of your coils.

Awesome. Thanks for the advice. I normally vape liquid from Vape Mail at the moment but I have some premium liquids like Dinner Lady which I save for special occasions because it is so damn expensive.

I'm thinking about trying to make my own liquid at some point once I've got the whole coil and wicking thing down and understood.

Well worth looking into making your own liquid mate. You don't quite realise how much your spending on it until you've been making your own for a while. Saving close to £70 a month now.

Gee's got a great guide stickied to page 1 of the thread when/if you decide to take it up. Alarmingly simple.

Nice. As for money I'd love to save some but considering I spend £100 every 10 days on fags at the moment even spending £100 a month on liquid (which I doubt I'll do) will still end up saving me a significant amount of money. But the more money I save on vaping the more money I can save up for a new computer :).

Your friendly forum mix-master is here. Gimme a shout if you need any mixing help, Cromulent.

Cool thanks.

Jesus I ordered some Muji cotton on a website and bought two bags of it. When it arrived it was crazy. There must be enough cotton there to last me for years! So just waiting on the delivery from FastTech now. Still hasn't shipped which is annoying. I think it is going to take a week before they ship it. If I had known that when I made the order I would have bought something else.

What did you order from fasttech?? Sometimes items will be on a pre order so will take time to ship.

Smoant Charon 218W Mod
Serpent SMM RTA
Coil Master DIY Kit V3

If you check your order details it will give you an idea of when it'll be shipped. As Yas said, it sometimes takes a couple days for the item to arrive in stock before they ship it. Comes via different warehouses as they don't have the space to keep everything in stock.

Hmm everything is ready to ship now apart from the Smoant Charon which will be ready to ship on the 11/08/2017. Now the question is do I cancel the mod and order a new one or wait for the Smoant Charon to be ready to ship? I'm really keen on giving up smoking so the sooner I can start vaping the better.

Take the dispatch date with a pinch of salt mate, I've had stuff say it would ship within 2 weeks and it's shipped 2 days later. If you've got something to tide you over I'd honestly wait for the Charon to be shipped. It's a brilliant mod for the price.

If you raise a ticket you could ask them to split the order and send out the stuff that is ready to be shipped now, or cancel the Smoant and put it on a new, separate order.

Go out/order for next day delivery and get an Aspire Nautilus 2 and an extra pack of 0.7 coils, and sit it straight on your Alien@18w, that tank was the deciding factor that finally got me off the smoking.

It's about £18 online or Vaporised sell them over the counter for £22, you can get packs of coils for ~£7 upwards delivered, I still don't leave home without my Nautilus 2-ever(I tend to have at least 2 tanks on person/work at all times).

Just rigged this up today.

Pulse 24 BF RDA

OMG!!! Flavour (and clouds) on this is simply amazing!

I'm going into town tomorrow. I think I'll pop into my local vape shop and see if they have it in stock. Just checked out their website though and they are a bit more expensive but having said that if it means giving up the smokes then an £7 is worth it.

Anyone have any experience with driphacks CS?

Put in an order yesterday, paid extra for DPD delivery so that it would arrive within the 1-2 day window(tomorrow) and just got word delivery is scheduled to arrive Monday and I won't be at that address until Wednesday as I'm working elsewhere.

Are they usually that slow to process orders, normally wouldn't mind but when you pay for premium delivery rates I expect the service?

Hope you enjoy the tank, it's not a big tank though and don't fill it to the brim or it'll flood, I usually fill it to the screw cap join visible through the window.

Just received the Horizontech Arco, and boy what a tank! It takes about half a tank to get rid of what is presumably the taste of flax, but after that it's all massive flavour and clouds.

I've come from a Crown 3, and already I think this is going to be my new daily tank, very impressed!

Always been really good for me, usually if I order in the morning I get same day dispatch.

I've only used their CS to ask when stocks due in, they replied within a few days.
